I’ve read the Pickthall and Yusuf Ali translations cover to cover. Have you read the New Testament cover to cover? The differences are self evident.
This is called hudud laws in islam. Most muslims already didnt practice this due to changes in times. If not you will see all muslims became handicapped no legs or/and, no hands.
My point exactly. You are deceived into thinking that you can be friends with the same people who are bound by the Quran and the Hadiths to kill you because you are not a Muslim. I even quoted scripture from the Quran, put it right in front of your face in the very post you only copied one sentence from and you still think you are friends with the people who in reality are commanded by the Quran to kill you.
I studied the Quran and Islam for 4 years and the conclusion I came away with is that a true Muslim will in the end always live by the book and the book says that all infidels which include you are evil and worthy of nothing but death.
Muslims will willingly tell you that they believe that Christ was a prophet but not the son of GOD but they never tell you that they believe that when Christ returns His job is going to be to kill Jews and to break the cross. IE Lead believers in the way of killing all infidels and to Crush Christianity.

The ultamite reality is that all Muslims will obey what the book says and will turn on you in a heart beat. They can never be trusted to be true friends with any infidel and that means you as well.

Tell that to the Coptic Christians in Egypt or the Assyrian Christians in Syria, The Christians in Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan and the list goes on.

The Bible speaks of a world wide religion the will consume the world and Islam is that religion which will consume the whole world. Today Islam is that fastest growing religion in the world.

Jawi??? Are you nuts??? I studied from 17 different English translations of the Quran and these English translations were translated by Prominent well educated Islamic Scholars like Yusuf Ali, Maulana Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Asad, Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall and other Islamic scholars as well as translator/scholars such as Arthur John Arberry, Nessim Joseph Dawood, and others so why would I need to understand any of the Jawi which is a form of the Arabic script or the Kufic script or any other script? The authors of those 17 English Translations of the Quran have done all of the work for me and I know from my studies that all 17 translated Quran's are all basically the same.
Nice try but the Quran basically says the same thing in any of the different scripts and languages around that world.
The one thing no body can change is that the Quran says what it says and there is no way around it. The idea that the Verse of the Sword applies to the present or to the past depends on who is translating the Quran and it is not a universal belief one way or the other and the same goes for being friends with an infidel. The fact of the matter is that if a Muslim doesn't strictly abide by what the Quran teaches and live their life accordingly, that Muslim is in danger of hell fire according to the Quran.
Islam has proven time and time again through out it's history that Muslims will always abide by the book before they cut you some slack rather then suffer the wrath of other Muslims. There is not one single Muslim country who is true friends with an infidel country who wouldn't turn on their alience with another country at some point because the one universal belief of all Muslims around the world is an Islamic world where there are no other religions but Islam. A world dominated by Islam.
Your not thinking very well. I have access to all the books and research materials I need to learn about Islam from both the Islamic and the secular world.

For a long time, the Blue Qur'an, the Topkapi manuscript, and the Samarkand Kufic Quran were considered the oldest Quran copies in existence. Both codices are more or less complete. They are written in the Kufic script.
Unfortunately the Jawi script is a Malaysian script used mainly in that area of the world and that is why you have been taught and believe that the original writings in Quran were done in the Jawi script. But the world is bigger then that which is why you need to open your mind up to the fact that not everything you have been taught is correct.
The advent of Islam in the Malay Archipelago had a very significant impact on the development of the Malay language, including the writing system. As Islam is closely tied on the Quranic language, Arabic, in all parts of the Muslim world non-Arabs tended to adopt Arabic writing system together with borrowing the Arabic loanwords into their native languages.
In the Malay world particularly, the Arabic letters based writing system had been used for centuries, which is called the Jawi script. In addition to the original Arabic letters, 5 new symbols were systematically constructed to fit the phonemes not found in the Arabic but native to the Malay, which are چ /cha/, ڤ /pa/, ڬ /ga/, ڠ /nga/, and ڽ /nya/.
According to R.O Windstedt, the Jawi script was not directly descended from the Arabs, but the Malays adopted it from the Perso-Arabic script. He elaborates that the letterچ /cha/ is borrowed not from the Arabic but from the Persian, as also is the letter ڬ /ga/ from the Persian گ /gaf/. For ڤ /pa/ is just not Arabic, ڠ /nga/, and پ (or ڽ) /nya/ appear to have been constructed from غ and ن respectively.
However, according to Professor Dr. Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas, the Jawi script is directly descended from the Arabic script brought by the Arab missionaries without any intermediaries like Persians or Hindis. He pointed out that the Arab missionaries involved in the Malay world were of the Ḥaḍramī origin. In order to verify that the Arabs were responsible for the reproduction of sounds of the Malay phonemes in Arabic letters that confirms with the Arabic Alphabet, we have to consider the formation of the letter /p/ in Jawi.

The Quran in Saudi Arabia is the same Quran that is in Malaysia and Europe, America, India, Pakistan, Iran and every other country in the world where there are Muslims and ALL Muslims are supposed to be living by the same principles, doctrines and beliefs of the Quran where ever in the world Allah is worshiped. So are you telling me that Islam in your country is different than in other parts of the world where there are Muslims? Are you saying that Muslims in your country have a different set of rules or laws then other Muslims???
Muslims are the same where ever they and in every country because they all read, study and live by the same book and apparently my studies have taught me more about Islam then you have been taught because you had no idea that the Jawi Script was not what the earlist Qurans were written in. Why??? Because the oldest Qurans existing are written in a Kufic Script and not the Jawi Script as you have been taught.

I didn't simply make that research up, I pulled it off educational web sites. The fact that you are still confused about the Jawi Script tells me you for what ever reason didn't make any effort to look up what I was telling you to see if I was right or wrong. Anytime I post something on line I have done the research and I know what I post is a true and verified fact, Which means that if you had taken the time to do the research you would have also found that what you have been taught is false. Just because you live in an Islamic invironment doesn't means that everything you've been taught about Islam is true. I have found on many occasions that I know more about Islam then some of the Muslims I have talked with. For an example I can prove that Muhammad adopted pagan ritual into Islamic worship just like the Catholic Church did when Muhammed took over Mecca. The Kaaba was used to house 360 gods including "The Invisible God named Allah" and the Hajj was taking place long before Muhammad was born. Only it was pagans who come to Mecca to worship their pagan gods one a year.
But Islamic Imams and Schalors don't teach that sort of history to the lay folks. It is what it is. Do the research and you will find out that you haven't been taught correctly.

i just ran into a Muslim the other day who had no idea of the spiritual significance of the number 19 in the Islamic world. Muslims are taught different things about Islam around the world. History is history and I didn't write it but I do study .
What you call 'spiritual significance' others consider to be 'divination'.
So are Christians, heck even Americans are taught different things about the United States depending upon what area of the country.
