I haven't seen such a rule,mainly I noticed that this site just doesn't tolerate chaos,quite a few people speak on different doctrines or religions,I think mainly people get banned when they start harassing people or force feeding their religion or views on people,as for me I think it to be fascinating and a challenge to learn about other cultures and Religions while serving God,after all if one can't stand firm for God against other religions or beliefs then we aren't doing our Job for God then are we?
because sure banning gets people gone "temporarily"(they can always make another username and use a different email address)but teaching others truthfully and boldly solves the heart of the problem when dealing with the lost or different denominations of religion,I truly welcome,this "challenge"!!!

A Muslim friend of mine says to me that the only book that was preserved over the years is the Quran and that all the other Holy Scriptures were adulterated stating that scholars support this and that many Muslim leaders fought to preserve the Quran . He thinks even the Torah was adulterated , the old and new testaments also .....so tell me what material do i have to show him Jesus

Has anyone ever come across the writings and teachings of Rumi. He was a 13th Century Persian Poet and Mystic who spoke about the love of God. He was and is a great influence and a major figure in the Sufi branch of Islam. Much of his teachings are similar to Christian mysticism

I would be interested to know exactly when he thought the Torah and the rest of the OT became adulterated because the dead Sea Scrolls believed to have been written around 200BC up until the time of Christ include almost all of the OT and its practically identical to present day versions.

Very true and here is a deeper dilemma on this subject.

True. Though I would add , all the books save for that of Esther.

So many say in context the Qurans verses on violence are not actually advocating on violence for modern unbelievers.

What is your response?

Your friend is either deliberately lying (taqiyya) or is terribly uninformed, since all original Qurans were desroyed to eliminate discrepancies between early existing copies. Muslim source materials report that at least four different versions of the Qur’an existed before the political order was given to have them burned. (Refer to "Al-Tamhid 2, 247) Click!

My brother is asking me. I gave him a lot of information dealing with this issue but I'm sure O can use some of yalls knowledge also. Thanks for the info. I read one time that there are actually many different versions of the Quran according to which region you are in. Is that true? Because if so you definitely couldn't trust which one is the original.

There are no originals! They were all destroyed. Please read the link I gave :D

Yah I'm looking at it. His first question was on the Surah 9:5 saying in context 9:6-7 almost contradicts Surah 9:5.

My response is that is false.. muslims are to wage jihad untill there is no more disbelief and the only religion is Islam..

Qur’an 8:39 “So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world).”

True muslims believe allah has bought them ( they are his slaves ) for a purpose..

Actually it has never been muslim teachings to kill In fact they are like christians taught to love one another. Matter of fac, I believe all religion taught its followers to love not otherwise. The reason why it is happening is fanatics individual with their own selfish propaganda.

There are over 100 surahs in the Koran that explicitly tell adherents to kill, and Islam has been spread by the sword since its inception. Perhaps in Malaysia these things are not taught, but that does not mean they are not in the Koran.

Ibeg to differ. There won't be any christians remaining in muslim countres if what you claimed to be true.

You guys just throw Christians in jail, but the FACT that all Muslims do not follow their own holy book does NOT negate the surahs in question. The Koran advocates for the murder of anyone who does not submit to Islam. Check it out for yourself!
