Oh I fully understand what u mean? There are things that Paul taught that I felt weren't "exactly" in keeping with Jesus' teachings. However, over time, and in realizing all the pains that Paul seemed to go through, and in seeing how much "truth" he taught.... WEll, I think that's what it always comes back to... the TRUTH. You see, I found truth in Paul. Perhaps not as much as in Jesus, for Jesus had some truths that just make a person's head spin. But Paul still had truth. And in realizing that we fall short of Jesus, it seems that Paul had a truth for those of us who do fall short (which is most of us as I see it), and Paul gave us a Jesus-given insight as to pretty much how we can still fall short, but still do well. If that makes sense. It's just how I see it perhaps. But I do think Paul was blessed by God and Jesus. And while he may still have just been a man... well so were the disciples... and so are we. I don't find his words to be ill. Nor do I find Paul to be offensive. So maybe sometimes we just have to see our underaccomplishments as a predicament of our weaknesses, and do the best we can... and hope Paul has good words for us. For if Paul was loved by Jesus, as I believe he was... then perhaps, he has words for us... to help our poor little weak hearts..... but hopefully greatfully loving hearts
The burden is on those claiming Paul means ' another gospel ' in the sense of there being ONLY one . Rather what the verses ACTUALLY SAY is ' other than the one they delivered to them '
Well, and don't forget the fact that none *before* Abraham had "good news," right?? They are all "lost" [/unsaved] (something like 2000-yrs'-worth of ppl) because "the good news" *first* came to Abraham... [??] but not before him?? (not saying *you've* suggested this, to be clear)

So Paul was not just an apostle to/for the Gentiles.
Most people love quoting that passage out of its context.
I can imagine all those thinking there is only ONE gospel will be imagining of a group of them, the 11 + Mary and others, on Sunday going 10, 9, 8, 7,....0 "Happy Resurrection my Lord"!
And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews

What is happening is this with these sermons going on and on about " there's only one gospel, and if any preaches another One then they are accursed . Its done with good intentions ,but if you read the verse it actually says ' other than THE ONE they delivered ' and other than THE ONE they recieved .
That does not preclude Paul from being an apostle to others.
Did you not just agree that Paul evangelized Jews also?

just because you aren't thinking about differential equations and solving Newtonian momentum equations when you decide if you have time to pull your car out onto a highway from a stop sign, doesn't mean you're doing "a different physics" or no physics at all. if you were to write out all the math involved in that simple decision of whether you can safely merge into traffic, it would be 30 pages long -- but you're doing it in your head in an instant even if you have never been taught how to write the most basic things in calculus and can hardly even add 3 digit numbers together.
ignorance of the details of the gospel does not equal a different gospel.
Adam did not know everything written in the NT but when the LORD pronounced that The Seed of the Woman would crush the seed of the Serpent, Adam heard and believed the gospel.

In fact paul went to the jews first in ever city he visited on his missionary journeys
