I will introduce myself. I am from the Midwest and grew up near the Ohio River Valley. I have been married for over 18 years and have 3 children. My professional background is in natural resources, law enforcement and search & rescue. I grew up in an evangelistic protestant church and had a conservative Christian upbringing.

My purpose to join Christianchat.com is to find Christian friends who will encourage and uplift me. I also hope someday God will help me to be an encouragement to others and use me in some way. I want God to use me again.

I have to say I do not have many Christian friends. Actually… I have no true friends at all. That is a long story. Over the past few years I have really been going thru the fire. I have suffered from the selfishness of others, I have been betrayed, hurt and brought to my knees with a complex web of problems. I say complex because so many of my problems are connected to the others and each one effects the other. I am praying God will begin to unravel this tangled mess as He is the only one who can.

Wow! That is some introduction. But, I am just being honest. I am “seeking” out friends who will truly care and lift me up in prayer and I am hoping to find good information. I guess this is my not-so- subtle cry for help. I hope I can contribute as well. As I heal and recover I want to be used by God too.

Please continue to pray for me as I try to recover from a very dark place in my life.

Hi Jess! Welcome to CC! I'm from the Ohio Valley as well. Go Buckeyes! I've been here on CC for a little over a year and I have met some awesome people! I'm more than happy to lift you up in prayer. I've been brought to my knees because of trials in my life. God uses those difficult times so we seek Him. When we do that He draws us nearer to Him...and when we listen and allow Him to use us, He starts to fix our train wrecks so we can give Him the glory!
