I was addicted to heroine & crack for 15 yrs. I almost died from Endocarditis ( infection on the ❤️) My addiction took me through homelessness, extreme weightloss, & prostitution. God began to speak to me everyday. I'll never forget the night I knew I was ready for God to take over. When I gave it all to Him, everything changed! He took my negative desires away! The next day I was arrested & I knew this was my way out that God was giving me. I was put in contact with an amazing place called Natalie's Sisters who helped me get a bed in a 9 mth faith based program called Refuge for Women Las Vegas! They even paid for my plane ticket! I graduated the program! I know who God is & what He has done for me! That was in 2017... Jesus shows me I'm worth more everyday!

Whoa Misty. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. I see a paragraph, but know that there are so many more details, so much depth to all of the things you have been through that could fill pages and pages and pages. I work in an area of town with a lot lot lot of drug use and my heart breaks for the people I see pacing the street, high on something awful that is taking their very life away. I cannot imagine what that life is like, or what led up to it for these precious ones who need rescue. I am so encouraged by your story as it shines the power of God over something that seems that it just won't let go. Just the fact that you knew that when you were arrested, it was the way God was making for you, shows that the Holy Spirit was working day and night, night and day on you well before this point.
I will keep praying for ones who are trapped in addiction, self harm, prostitution, abuse. He will make a way, just like He did for you. Halleluiah!! I am so thankful for your valuable life!! Freedom, joy and belonging to you, dear sister.

Great Testimony!

there are so many 'addictions' in this 'fallen-world', way to many to count, (we have worn many of these T-shirts) -
let's see; 'legal to ill-legal drugs', 'food-sex-coveting'-'self-worship'-cutting-material object worship'-
mental-gymnastics'-self-delusion'-smoking anything'-and many other 'self-comforting tactics, such as
manipulation of those you love or just anybody in general to GET your own way, -addiction to contention,
drama kings & queens debaters who can NEVER get enough or just can't put down their old, tricks, etc.
somebody want to talk about the 'satanic influences in this world and how it has affected your lives'???
 
I am glad you found what faith can do. I wish you all the best in your future. Keep testifying because your testimony is strong, a lot of people are struggling on drugs and self importance. There are many with self esteem issues. Testify sister!.
