Okay, really though I'll calm down now, because for all I know, 14 weeks means that's how long until an Australian election or the gestation period of a kookaburra or something.

Rachel, that was glorious! I burst out laughing at your comment concerning the gestation period of kookaburra. Very creative. :) Yes, it's a long time but we physically live far from each other and have to time it with term holidays. We can absolutely do it with God's help. And yes, 14 weeks need to pass before Arlene and I see each other face-to-face. I've got my hugs all stored up!

Thanks to all our brothers and sisters who have been celebrating with us. It means a great deal. We love you guys! A special mention to Jilly, PopClick and Jim for their contributions. ;)

As for 14 weeks, Tintin, would you two consider FaceTime or video Skype in the meantime? So much gets accomplished over FaceTime when one shares facial expressions, prayer time and even Bible readings together.

Pray about it, and consider that a LDR needs maturing with vectors like phone, video & actually meeting. :)

Thanks, BananaPie. We do talk regularly via text and Facebook and have talked once on Skype and on the phone a couple times so far. I'm not familiar with FaceTime but video Skype sounds like a very good idea. I also love the idea of praying and reading the Bible together.
I presume LDR stands for Long Distance Relationship, but I could be wrong. You may be talking about the latest camera type for all I know.
Thanks so much, sister. We'll definitely pray about such things. God is good and we aim to keep Christ at the centre. :)

Yes, video Skype is free online video as long as both of your computers have video camera installed, it should work on your computer screens.

Yes, the best conversations to have with one's Beloved is when our Lord Jesus is included in such conversations. Godly thoughts, even geeky thoughts can be blessed when God is included. We are very happy for you both.

May the Lord continue to bless and sanctify your LDR (yes, you got that right), and may the Holy Spirit continue to expand your minds to holier thoughts in Christ. Remember, our Lord Jesus is, "the Lover of our soul." :) :) :)

This isn't even my relationship,..Why am I over here squealing at every little post or update?

But its just SOOO CUUUUTEE and pretty awesome. God does great works in our lives when we let him!! Its encouraging to see this happen to two real people with hearts for God.......
