Well if it's not good to be single, it's at least better than any of the alternatives I've been presented so far. Unless you count living alone single vs living with dog and single. Then dog is the much better alternative.
It IS good to be single!!! And better than many alternatives. Being married to a spiritually strong spouse is the only other good alternative.
Dogs are a mess! - unless you're a good dog trainer. I don't have that kind of time and patience for an animal (presently). Cats are smart, and low maintenance, and usually less emotionally needy- depending on the breed of the Dog or cat. Reptiles, arachnids, fish and... plants are good pets too. Dogs are more majestic, though- Dogs that resemble Foxes and wolves are pretty. Besides that, my favorite dog is Dalmatian, but I don't have time or space to run a Dalmatian... maybe someday.

Well it depends on everyone's nature and needs for example I'm a person who loves to talk(too much). I'm not married now and not actively looking for a spouse either but I'd be happy getting married in the right time and ofcourse to a spiritual woman a daughter of Jesus.
I think the problem of staying single hits when you get past the age of 35. To be more accurate the late age of marriage in your locality. Also it'll hit harder when your friends find their own family and the people you love get busy because of their own family life. Like I said before it's upto individual's because I'm not the kind of person who like to be left alone if you are a person like me go ahead pray to God and find your partner(who must also be a child of God) but I also know some people who don't care about these stuffs and ok with being alone so it's totally upto you.
Biblically, if you can not control you physical need for lust you must have your own wife or else it's upto your own choice. The end note is if Jesus can't be your soul mate and wipe out all your loneliness when you are single, then a marriage won't fix it either. So let's have Jesus as our first and last love

I struggle with this sometimes. There was a girl that I liked who was about a dacade older then me (don't judge me) who was basically my first crush (grew up in a house with mostly boys/brothers, and never really been out of the house to see/meet new people), until I found out she was dating someone else. Of course I'm irritated and annoyed cuz I liked her first. Well God made us to be social creatures, it's only good to be alone when you can stand being alone.
I'm not judging you because I have been worse. But this feeling of your might lead to bad habits. You're bring jealous over something that's not yours so my suggestion would be, if she is not your wife stop checking her life. Need strength to do that ? Ask God he will provide. It's better to stop this as soon as possible. I'm no expert in relationship advice because I'm a mess myself without God. So get advice from some experienced spiritual people. Please try to resist instead of going with the flow.

Her name is Iris. She likes fetch, food and sticking her nose into whatever happens to be occupying cinder at the moment.
The picture gives the impression she has just been playing, and is currently recharging, but is not too tired to keep an eye out in case cinder happens to start doing something interesting.

And I don't feel any rage or anything, but I feel like I lost someone that I could've had a good relationship with (she's a Christian). Plus 2 of my brothers didn't marry the right people. So I guess I feel like I had a chance to do right and marry a Christian, but that obviously can't work out cuz she's older then me. But I need help to "let her go" because I don't want to be holding on to her whenever I find a girlfriend. But it's been harder then I thought.

1. You can't be sure she's apt for your without having a close relationship with her. When we get stuck with this feelings for some people. I don't know where these idea come from, Whether Satan's lies or out own heart's deception. The person that we cant have will feel like the perfect companion for life. Trust me it's a lie most of the times. so get that picture out of your head. God knows who will suit you as a wife more than you so first step would be to give up the thought that, if we have made it together it would've been perfect. That's a lie. Understand and accept that she's not the one for you.
2. She's not the only woman in the world. And probably she's not the one for you right now, so you have to move on. How? you ask, build your relationship with Jesus, always keep Jesus as your first priority in life. He will never disappoint you. He'll respect your feelings. He will always be there for you. The thing is if you can't be a content Christian with Jesus as a single then marriage won't change anything in your life. So pray to him give time for his word(Bible).
And don't think like even after getting the girl of your life you will be thinking about this woman. That is totally not possible, it's just part of the lies that I mentioned before. Don't over think just get close with Jesus because that's the best way to get rid of this.
Yep Iris is beautiful on the outside and overly protective on the inside. Can't blame her though, she lost her last human and got stuck in puppy prison (aka animal shelter) for 6 months before I got her out. She doesn't want anything to happen to her human because she doesn't want to go back to puppy prison.

All of that is true. But it's still harder then you think. I been trying a lot things not to think about her, but I come back to her because I'm stuck in the house almost everyday, and don't know anyone else.
I can totally understand what you are going through. I spent a long time bothering myself over a broken relationship. She dumped me and I was totally not ok about it untill I met Jesus. After getting saved in early times Jesus took away many of my sins and sorrows that I thought I will carry for life time. so I thought he will also heal this breakup wound like immediately. But guess what he did, he gave me a verse that meant don't go back to her and nothing more than that, like seriously he did not even say how. Every time when I heard something about her or see her picture somewhere it disturbed my peace. I asked him, cried to him to take this away from me. He didn't say anything. but you know what I never realised he made me strong day by day. He was building me from inside which I never noticed. 2 years after breakup I saw her for the first time in my church and I felt nothing. I got nervous my heart beat raised for a minute but inside my heart I felt like someone said I'm here with you and I brought you here and that's it everything went flat. Even now untill today random thoughts of her come and go but it don't affect me anymore, idk why it's coming may be because I have spent a long time with her, but I know it's effect has decreased tremendously from day 1 and now I have peace on this issue and someday it will go away forever. May be you don't get anything from what I said but I can not explain in words what God can do. He loves us so much soooo much, don't waste your feelings for people just don't instead listen to that knocking sound on your heart's door step let him in. Yes it was hard yes it was painful when I went through that but one thing i realised was when something hurts me it hurts him more and he was always there with me. That's why I say to anyone who's facing problems in life, Put Jesus Christ as your first priority he will never disappoint you. That's why I tell you, it will feel like impossible for your human eyes but for God nothing is impossible imagine you have a father to whom nothing is impossible. And all you have to do is ask him. Just ask him pal. I'm sorry if I brought my personal story inappropriately but I had no other way to explain this relatable to you.
And sorry I talked too much it's my nature and I'm trying to change.
