I believe that the Jews returning to Israel is part of Prophecy but its for judgement. The land belongs to God and he does with it as he chooses which includes who inhabits it and who doesnt. The covenant he made with Israel depended on obedience to him not on any ethnic basis. The Bible as I read it says a remnant will be saved. There has always been a righteous remnent in Israel and an unrighteous majority. God dealt with the unrighteous using Assyria, Babylon and Rome. Next time it will be the Antichrist and
the surounding nations.
The primary purpose is the redemption and salvation of Israel. The massive judgements (against everyone) are certain and necessary but ancillary.
If it is a miracle what was created in 1948 creating something called Israel, with no High Priest, no Temple and no Holy Spirit, then, it was indeed a mracle.
The Israel of our geography today is the staging grounds for the fulfillment of the prophecies, ant this only.

Surely it's prophecy fulfilled, but a miracle? Or is it something else.....?
Ezekiel 35.
Its the staging ground for Jeremiah chapter 31....obviously. The joyous redemption of national Israel to their Maker and land to serve Him....forevermore.
I think I agree with this. They've been under God's wrath ever since 70 AD in a fixed state. I'm not optimistic about their future.

The Church IS Israel. God removed the unbelievers, only believers in Christ remain.
I'm sorry, what was the miracle in 1948 again? That land in Palestine has always been there. It was still there all through the Crusades, when people decided they needed to go off and kill each other for it. Is the miracle that one political faction ruled over that piece of land over another? Or that one non-Christian religion took it over another? Or is it the name change?
When people start regarding a piece of land as "holy" and then use that to justify people fighting against people and killing each other, might I suggest you have a grave misunderstanding of what God truly values.

What does The Holy Spirit have to do? Offer the whole gospel?
I would say send the new testament and replace the wailing wall with the gospel. Its works for the gentiles. Faith comes by hearing.
Jesus said His flesh profits for zero. That must mean something?

I picketed John Hagee's church to stop exactly that. Held a sign, everything. I got lots of car honking, anger, support, cops, threatened to get arrested by a fake cop, the whole bit.
Make no mistake...God has chosen the land of Israel (erroneously called Palestine) as the location of His earthly throne in Jerusalem and His chosen people the Israelites who will dwell in that land.
