The believer is called to expose the wolf in sheep's clothing, that has entered the flock unaware, defend the babes in the flock from the ravenous wolves. We are called to distance ourselves from those who are heretics if they will not repent.
I agree, truth cant be compromised for peaceopposing points of view can often show us both sides of the scriptures -
we certainly, as Tararose has so eloquently stated, must always speak the Truth in Love' -
and also,
as Truth7 has stated, 'righteous war' is better than a hypocritical peace...
our interpretation, if you don't mind Truth7...
================================I agree, truth cant be compromised for peace
There are evil wolves that wilfully desires to devour the flock, the elders in the church are called to defend the flock
Do I endorse personal attacks on a poster (No) but it takes place on both sides, focus on attacking the teaching, not the teacher is my goal
Preterism, historicism, dispensationalism, are false teachings, and many follow those teachings mentioned.
Its far to easy to make up a voice in your own head to what someone sounds like when we read a post. And none of ya sound OLDYes, younger, slimmer, and naturally curly hair....please.
You'll have an eternity to slowly regret this oneand naturally curly hair....please.

It is not ‘heresy’ to disagree over the symbolism and proper positions of the various views of Premillenists and Amillenists and Preterists or any other “isms”. We are discussing HISTORY, (PAST OR FUTURE) not THEOLOGY.
The dialogue of some people has become so contentious that it goes beyond the pale of Christian behavior. Tossing scripture around that is not meant to edify but to chastise and scold the one who dared disagree; this is blasphemy, a disgraceful misuse of scripture. There is only one entity that encourages this type of enmity and confusion among people of faith…..that old DRAGON.
(CALLING PEOPLE HERETICS)
I recently began some discourse in these forums after more than 18 months since the last time I was in chats. I had left before for two reasons.......I have an actual life.....and my behavior needed a re-do. I see some people have taken umbrage at some of my posts, so I will apologize to those whom I meant no insult.......and do not apologize to those who prefer to bait rather than debate. I gave short answers to a few posts simply because after hours of sharing my views I get the same questions. So I may move on soon, holidays are coming, presents to buy, cookies to bake........or I may not
I just did my ‘mea culpa’……..will you?
Disputing for the sake of arguing is empty silly talk. (We’ve all been guilty of that) Disputing bad doctrine is encouraged in the scriptures.
2 Timothy 4:1-22 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. ...
My questions are:
1.Would you converse with people face to face as you do in an anonymous forum?
2. What words would you use if you were speaking to your pastor? Same ones? Change a few? Would you be ok if everything you post in a forum was read to your congregation on Sunday morning? (I think I’d stay home that day)
3. When is it proper to dispute ?
4. Do we present our points in a way most beneficial to edify the church?
I will point out one good thing about reading a anonymous posts, Is your more likely to hear their truth thoughts. Where as at church that person that needs help may not

I somewhat agree. I posted a similar thread earlier. As long as the same recommendation goes for dispensationalists. In my experience they are often very vocal bullies who cannot handle disagreement. It actually nudged me to explore all opposite views of theirs, and examine theirs more critically. I'm contrarian audience and don't respond positively to force. Apply force and you lost me. Where I don't agree is that Christianity has become too focused on dogma and doctrine like any other religion. I don't believe this is the essence of the way of Jesus. At all.
Just be glad you don't have my hair it's naturally silky and soft but so thin good luck doing anything with itThis is for curls....
agree wavy or curly hair is awesome and you can wear it straight too!
Doctrine is important. It keeps us humble as we explore the majesty of God.
We can realize (if we dare) that God did not create us to entertain Himself......but for a purpose which may only be known to God, for His ways are not our ways.
And we are told to 'study to be approved as a workman who is ABLE to handle accurately the word of truth'. So I do.
2 Tim 2:15
doctrine is scripture based
dogma is opinion........so its good to avoid that
I know some like to debate with out posting their Chapter and verse. Its to easy to find a bible verse on Google to not post them. Then who ever reads it can debate what the bible says rather than what a person says. If you cant remember the verse or even some of the verse then it may not be in your heart yet. Its to easy to put them in our own words and slant things to our own opinion. Rom3:4
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
