1 Samuel 2 verses 7-9 ~ The LORD sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and He exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap. He seats them among princes and bestows on them a throne of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and upon them He has set the world. He guards the steps of His faithful ones, but the wicked perish in darkness; for by his own strength shall no man prevail.
I started that one yesterday... the suit I'd had saved on my HD for almost four years, and it came with
no head LOL but the hands were dark so that determined the type of face that would go with... I am
not sure I will stick with that background, though... I have tried quite a few so far, and none really grab me!

I have been listening to 1 Samuel of late...

I'm tired of sitting at home.
We both have colds again this week so for two weeks we have had sniffles.

We don't want to get anyone else sick so we stay home.

But I want OUT....can't take it much longer.

Drink lots of water - cut as much sugar as is absolutely possible out of your diet - the next warm dry day you get, go somewhere where there are few-to-no people and breath as much fresh air as you can get away with... :geek:

You just described my back yard....I spend hours out there every day doing something like tying up peas, grapes, weedeating, fertilizing, I got starters for all kinds more plants going too. Thinking about making pesto from my herb garden.

Been outside on my deck watching Sunrise this morning.

Just tired of the sniffles and want to see some people.

Cool!

Be careful about what you breath while doing some of that (weedeating, fertilizing) - it could/might adversely affect your sinus membranes. :cautious:

Something else that could/might adversely affect your sinus membranes - at least, in certain situations - is air conditioning. HEPA filtration can help; however, nothing beats good 'ole fresh air from the outdoors. Too much indoor air can be detrimental... (my experience)

Glad you are able to spend time outdoors in your back yard. I hope it helps you. :)

I understand. I hope and pray and wish for you and your wife to be feeling fine and headed out-and-about soon... :coffee:

Monday 40' of scaffolding showed up....
Had to unload the tractor trailer delivery then load up my trailer and truck to haul it to the shed to put it away.
Uggghhhh.....without getting a lot of air that was exhausting.
Yesterday my dad and I went to Lowes to get supplies for his cabinet install. Ugghhhh....we got it and I grabbed some stuff as well. Tried to BBQ some ribs. But a neighbor came by and was having problems with his electricity. (Quick fix) And even though the ribs had been slowly smoking for three hours already I came back to find the ribs on fire. (Grease fire....mostly ruined them)

So....today....gonna try to get dad's cabinet put together and painted....then bush whacking. Boxwood bushes are in the way of where I need to put scaffolding up to climb on the roof.....so I can set up more scaffolding on the roof to fix shingles on the turret. (Old Victorian house)

Lawns mowed? Maybe....let's just see how the day goes. Gonna be soon for Dad and I both.

It's still not doing what I really like which is church and SS class. Oh well.
