Her comment was "the IDF rapes their prisoners". Does Abu Ghraib prison ring a bell??? So does that mean American soldiers sexually abuse their prisoners? I'm sure someone in these forums has served. Anyone want to speak to the point I'm making? 9 people out of some 169,500 soldiers!! Cut out the propaganda!
I was in the RAN (Australian Navy) during the Vietnam period. I was only in the war zone for a week. However, I met a lot of American servicemen while I was in Hawaii for a month. They were on leave from the Vietnam war. Some of them were really messed up. War does terrible things to people.
I can imagine how a soldier would feel if he saw his colleagues butchered as Hamas has done to IDF captives. Hamas raped some female soldiers. Hamas burned babies alive, raped mothers in front of their children and did other unspeakable things. Hamas deserves everything it gets. If I was ruling Israel, there would be no Hamas prisoners. They would all be subject to the death penalty. After all, that's what Hamas does to its own citizens.
Israel has been way too soft in the past. From a military point of view, they allowed Hamas to build up its forces and to create weapons used to kill Israelis. They complain about water shortages, but they've dug up the pipes to use for missile housings. The concrete that was supplied to rebuild Gaza was used to line terror tunnels instead.
Gazans voted for Hamas. They get to live and die with the consequences.
