So sad that some want to make it about the flesh again. As Paul so soundly defeated the requirement for circumcision of believers in the New Testament, these modern day Judaisers haven't dared to try that argument again. Instead, they make it about the lineage of one from "true" physical Jews - although, of course, since 70AD, no one claiming to be Jewish has been able to verify his Jewish ancestry with the necessary temple records.
