The Church is the fulfillment of God's promise to Israel - Jew and Gentile made one in Christ, in the Church. The Church didn't replace Israel - believing Israel became the Church.OK let's back it up a moment......he will not forsake........Key and to my point.......when?......in the last days. Recalling the promises made to their father's.
The church does not replace Israel....my point.
Galations 3:26-29
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
As above. The remnant of believing Israel was saved in 70AD. The unbelieving were destroyed. Believing Israel is now one with and indistinguishable from the Church.God has not abandoned Israel....to the point.
Colossians 3:9-11
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
The New Testament is the New Covenant Christ made with Jews and Gentiles - all men who believe - by His blood.God made covenants with Israel...not gentiles...to the point.
Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament [covenant] in my blood, which is shed for you.
