Israel has uncovered the sophisticated tunnel and command complex under the Shifa hospital. Hamas, of course, claims that it does not exist. Of course, it is possible that the Israelis secretly made the tunnel and the command centre in the last few days to make Hamas look bad.

You got it half right... Israel did in fact build the "command centre" but not in the last few days. It was built in the 80's.
