Israel has never been a nation of flesh It has always been a nation of faith. Read the book of Romans. The people in that land have no faith in Christ.

Go study WW2 in the Pacific a little.... the US military was the one that said if we invaded Japan's homeland, we would lose 500,000 or more solders.

They started the war with us so their war machine must be dismantled... so rather than the US having to lose all those lives, dropping nukes was the much better solution.

You obviously have not studies any of the major wars to understand what all is going on.

That's modern times... I'm talking about during the Old Testament times... have you ever heard of the Old Testament? Apparently you have not read any of it, oh and all of the early church was Jewish peoples!

Well the coming one world leader will be full of lies and deception and will apper to be this great humanitarian who in the beginning will speak very highly of Jesus so that many Christians will be deceived and will follow him.

The majority of people today claiming to be Christians... aren't according to biblical teaching.
 
The japanese military lost between 2.6 million soldiers and the Americans lost something close to 111,000 soldiers.
Somewhere betweem 500,000 and 1 milliin Japanese civilians died.

Japanese warmongers started the war by attacking us. Not women and children.

If we had choosen to fight those who attacked us rather focus our energies on those who didnt in Europe we could have very easily taken Japan.

We are talking about the war now, not Old Testament times.

I was drawing a comparison concerning self defense by pointing out that during Old Testament times God destroyed entire nations in self defense of Israel.

Meaning... self defense is not a sin and many times war results in women and children getting killed.

Well, you obviously don't know what you are talking about.

It took American military might to take down hitler... who by the way had plans to invade the Unites States after winning europe and he would have brought war to our home land causing American women and children to die.

Germany started the war, so it's better to fight the war over there rather than being ignorant and letting the, take Europe and then come invade the US and fight on our own soil.

There is no comparing the Old Testament this modern time.
The Kingdom that Christ rules is not of flesh and blood. We are a diaspora scattered among the nations, we are not at war with flesh amd blood we are at war with principalities and evil in high places.

Im not conflating flesh with spirit.

Sure God will fight for us and destroy those against the faithful.

I'm with you on the "how long" part and doing nothing. People can discuss what to do, but I want to be clear on what we shouldn't do as that should be easier to agree on (hopefully).

As for the armless children demographic, I meant that they don't have guns (not that they don't have arms lol). Hamas is the government but it's also in reference to their militant wing. It's my understanding if Hamas calls you to fight for them, you must do so or face severe consequences. If they give guns to children, I wasn't aware of it.

I may be the western mindset part that makes us see things a little lopsided. In Gaza from their mindset they might have multiple wives and multiple children with them. And so if a man in Gaza has for instance three wives and two children by each wife then that's four adults and six children. Now maybe every man doesn't have three wives maybe he only has two or just one who knows maybe even four. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriage_in_the_Palestinian_territories

Anyway though to me it sort makes sense that 47% of those in Gaza are younger than 18 but because of this the ratio could be 1:9 if the husband was Hamas and he had three wives and each had two children(1 Hamas to 9 civilians).. I would think that if in Hamas it would be best to send his family south of the river like is being suggested to avoid the !:9 ratio. I also have a western mindset and being from the coast I've seen millions evacuated in two days from places like New Orleans,Beaumont,Houston,Corpus Christi ect. when hurricanes hit so it's not impossible.

All these people advocating for ignoring the laws of war, going Old Testament (yet without the divine right and command of God!) and complaining that unarmed, Palestinian children haven't overturned the Israel-state supported Hamas leadership, I hope they are just as bold when the terror is on their own soil, and that they will be the first to send their unarmed women and children to do battle with terrorists if and when these come to the West (very likely given the influx and numbers of military age, male illegal immigrants).

I hope these same people also remember they have no right to complain about the laws of war being broken if such events do occur, given these are the people advocating against the laws of war being followed in Israel and Palestine (clearly, because in their minds, might makes right).

The statement actually was not directed at you, but I respect the fact you owned up to your belief, if it truly is your belief that God will bless those who reject Christ. Is this really what you are saying, though?

This is a straw-man argument. The verse is saying that Christians are true Jews - it is not saying the church takes the place of the Jews. We are grafted into the true vine - just as those who call themselves Jews today (but are not) will be, if they believe on the Messiah.
