Palestinian isn't an ethnic group either. That would be like saying "American" is an ethnic group.

Definition Ethnic Cleansing
the mass expulsion or killing of members of an unwanted ethnic or religious group in a society.
If Palestinians are expelled from Israel's society it would seem they are being ethnically cleansed. However, if Palestinians refuse to pledge allegiance to Israel and refuse to renounce their stated goal of exterminating Israel and removing Jews from the land, then that would seem to be an important caveat to include.

My apologies for sounding condescending. That was not my intention. But the fact that one group desires the annihilation of the other is what makes the situation binary; not my pointing it out.
If they refuse how could you condone a one state solution with them becoming citizens?
