mercy for the jews is very much like grace for the gentiles. it's the act God performed for both jew and gentile upon the Cross. we are in the gentile period, not the grace period. yes, we have grace very much like after the gentile reign the jews will have mercy. Paul said God gave the jews a delusion for the period of the gentile era but God will restore the jews back once the gentile period ends. that is mercy.
you are making a doctrine out of grace which is incorrect. i read the first portion because i needed to log but i do appreciate the update on how the article ends. i am of the belief the Gifts are active until Christ comes. during the first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation the 2 Witnesses will be endowed with power. that is the Holy Spirit giving them their Power. so the Holy Spirit and Gifts will remain and no reason to think they have ceased.
one good example is knowledge of both the Word of God and the world. we are smarter now than ever before. we are fulfilling both Daniel and Paul's prophecy. we keep uncovering missing pieces to ancient Biblical Writings all of the time which adds more knowledge. if knowledge has ceased, we would be bumbling idiots. the same can be said for Prophecies. they are still being fulfilled. clearly prophecies have not ceased. we still have a 3rd of Revelation/Matthew 24 to be fulfilled. i just don't buy the Gifts have ended. especially for a doctrine like grace.
