REPLY: The Earth is a huge mass of material whose gravity is stronger than
centrifugal force; which why an escape velocity approaching 25,000 mph is
required to get things off the ground and out into orbit. Most commercial
airliners fly quite a bit less than 1,000 mph so they have no trouble keeping
themselves here. Even the old supersonic Concorde (1300+ mph) flew well
below escape velocity.

The problem is that the water you are pouring is not spinning at the same rate as the ball. In fact, it is not spinning at all. In the plane example, the plane at take-off is already moving at the same rate as a spinning earth plus the speed of the plane. The speed of the plane is adjusted to match what appears to be a stationary runway.A plane would never be able to land on a spinning ball because of the friction. If you pour water on a spinning ball, you will never again believe that a plane can land on a spinning ball.

Is your real intent to see if you can/could "get away with it" while taking a jab at another member of the site and making it appear to be an innocent mistake? If so, you should be reprimanded for purposely doing so on a Christian site.
If it somehow really is an innocent mistake - then, you really need to give more consideration to how what you write may appear to others.
I know innocent mistakes can happen - I have probably made some myself. However, we should all strive to avoid [even] "the appearance of evil" when we post on this site. As much as reasonably possible, let's try to keep it 'family friendly'.

Your arguments are absurd. There is not a shred of actual fact in anything that FE people proffer as evidence. Misunderstood and irrelevant Bible verses have nothing to do with the shape of the earth.

There is nothing that you can say that will change the truth. I don't have an answer for that verse. There is much in the Bible that I do not understand. However, I do know that the earth is a globe. I do know that born again Christians have stood on the surface of the moon and observed the globe earth. I do know that over 600 people have been into space and seen the globe earth. I do know that some people are observing the globe earth right this minute. I do know that the ancient Greeks calculated the circumference of the earth almost exactly. I've observed the curvature of the earth myself and I know enough about microwaves to know that the earth must be a globe.
This would be hilarious if it was not so pathetic. FE people are those who suffer from cognitive dissonance.
