Day/night lengths are equal & opposite.
You are substituting CLIMATE for duration of day & night in an attempted sleight-of-hand that fails.
I'm sure you must be aware that there are more contributing factors to CLIMATE.

Solution:
Plane A will be 200 miles from Miami when plane B takes off.
The difference in their speeds is 100 mph
So although plane B is flying at 300 mph, it will be closing with plane A at
only 100 mph, so it will take plane B two hours to catch up.
Meanwhile, plane A will have traveled another 400 miles in those two hours.
The planes will rendezvous 600 miles from Miami.

Your answer depends on if you believe the earth is a globe and is spinning and in which one direction the earth is spinning.
Now that you know those two scripture verses could not have taken place on a spinning ball/globe earth, you have no excuse if you still believe the earth is a spinning ball/globe earth.

The devil took Jesus up to a very high mountain to show him the kingdoms of the world; this very act of taking Jesus to a high place to show him the kingdoms of the world proves the earth is not a globe.
I'm not trying to be flippant, but do you believe you are actually a sheep? Or that Job actually saw God with his eyes?
God has used many literary devices in scripture.
If Jesus was shown all the kingdoms of the world in a moment, it's quite obvious that it was a vision not a physical view.
If it was a literal mountain, where is this mountain?
And if The Earth is flat, why can't anyone on Earth see it now?
Jesus was shown all the kingdoms of the world in a moment from on top of a mountain; Jesus was able to use the mountain to see all of these kingdoms at once because of its height.
Jesus saw all the kingdoms of the world in a vision, from on top of a mountain, because He saw much further in the flat plane than we do. We didn't receive the vision Jesus did.
The reason God used the word "mountain" in these two scripture verses is, so no one gets confused and actually thinks the earth is a globe/spinning ball.
