I understand struggling with the faith-vs-my-eyes thing. But... this is not one of those areas that conflicts with the gospel or with the creation story. And, the heliocentric model, if anything, proves that God is far, far greater than one who'd create an earth-centric universe, with a flat world as our home.
Indeed, a geocentric model is more and more one of hubris.

There are two lines of evidence form recent deep-space observations demonstrating that there is roughly about 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe. Combine this with the estimate of about 1 planet on average per star, and perhaps 50 to 100 billion stars per galaxy, then at some point we need to show some humility especially when "before honor comes humility" (Pr. 15:33)

I do not know why, but this started to open up the sky for me. Suddenly, the sky overhead began to seem almost 2-and-one-half dimensional. Almost three-dimensional. Hearing a star is 500ly away is one thing. Starting to get some level of comprehension of what that means is quite another. It was like looking at 35mm photos of the Grand Canyon all my life... and then seeing it with my own eyes. Yikes.
Nice story! If I could grasp more of what's out there then others would say my head is in the clouds, not understanding that I am just trying to get above them to see what the Lord has wrought above. :)

Yep. The word "planet" is from the Greek planetai, which means "wandering star". These are mentioned in Jude 1: 13 (as a metaphor for those in darkness).
It is not as simple as that so make sure you learn from Copernicus as it is relatively straightforward. A planet is not defined in isolation as the foolish today try to do. A planet was defined by its wandering (direct/retrograde) motion as opposed to the direct motion of the Sun through the field of background stars known as the 12 constellations or Zodiac-

http://astro.dur.ac.uk/~ams/users/sun_ecliptic.gif

"Moreover, we see the other five planets also retrograde at times, and
stationary at either end [of the regression]. And whereas the sun
always advances along its own direct path, they wander in various
ways, straying sometimes to the south and sometimes to the north; that
is why they are called "planets" [wanderers].
Copernicus

He is describing this motion-

It is here that Christians should truly appreciate that the faster moving Earth causes the slower moving planets to fall behind in view as our planet overtakes them and therefore not only resolve direct/retrogrades but in doing so places the Sun at the centre of all planetary motions-

https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/image/0112/JuSa2000_tezel.gif

Nothing more is demanded of the observer, however, it gets interesting when the observations of the faster moving Venus and Mercury enter a consideration. Everything remains positive and only the lack of contemporary satellite imaging prevented Copernicus and Galileo from resolving direct/retrogrades of the inner planets.

I had spent three years insulting Him and even trying to (minimally) provoke Him after my wife died. I was waiting for testicular cancer or a truck to strike me. Nothing of the sort happened. I think this event was His response, and it was simply to say, "I am God". Tears me up just thinking about it. That He put up with my blasphemous rants and responded with such patience, gentleness, and through something that is a passion of mine... If you want Buddha or Allah or Gaia or Satan, you can have them. My God kicks their ... seating arrangements.

You can apply exactly the same logic to yourself. "The heavens declare the glory of God" The skies proclaim the work of his hands"
How anyone can look at the design of our solar system and not see the creator's glorious had is beyond me.
I see the Creator's glorious hand in the Flat Earth model.

BTW - I like the statement in your current signature. (y)

Do you think you can supply that video please? I, for one, would like to see and hear it.

I can supply bunches of info on how to deal with the belts and they do not completely cover the earth and they fluctuate. Further, it would take prolonged amounts of exposure to kill a person.

A little astrophysical info in this article, but don't fret. So much more available if a person researches without a conspiratorial POV

You can't just make broad and all encompassing statements as though some final conclusion had been reached because you said so. When I am using the pronoun here, you, I am referring to anyone who presented their list as you did.

Does anyone here really want to read all this technical info and then delve into whether or not it is false? I seriously doubt it.

Their sizes change depending on solar activity and, sometimes, on how we model them. The inner belt starts at an altitude of 600-1,600 km, according to different sources, and extends till 9,600-13,000 km. The range of the outer belt varies similarly: from 13,500-19,000 km to about 40,000 km.

There is a gap between these belts called the slot region, which is generally devoid of energetic particles. Sometimes, a third, transient appears in this region. Geosynchronous communications satellites orbit just inside the outer edge of the outer radiation belt, and the low-Earth orbit (LEO), where the International Space Station and the Hubble space telescope are, is just below the inner edge of the inner belt.

The radiation belts are not the only structures surrounding Earth. Starting from about 1,000 km, at the very edge of the inner radiation belt, and partially pushing into the outer belt, there is a cloud of charged particles called the plasmasphere. This is yet another layer of protection Earth has against space radiation. Electrons nearly at lightspeed in the outer belt move laterally along the magnetic field lines around Earth; a plasmasphere phenomenon called the plasmaspheric hiss – which is very low-frequency (VLF) electromagnetic waves – prevents them from moving down closer to Earth. This VLF hiss results in part from atmospheric lightning and in another part from ground-based transmitters communicating with submarines (Fig. 1).
What do FE people call the air we breathe? The atmosflat?

I wish I had thought of "atmosflat". I did not. I don't remember exactly where I saw the remark, but it made me laugh.

The earth is a donut hole with a pancake for an atmosflat. The earth sounds delicious! And only now are we discovering that...

Far more scientific than that stupid poles video.
I watched it all the way through just to see what the FE evidence was.

The south pole is colder than the north pole for the same reason that the top of the Alps are colder than the base of the Alps.
I've witnessed that myself when ascending mountains. They get colder and seemingly change seasons when you approach
their heights. There is a point on every high hill where you stop seeing animals. Eventually grasses cease to grow and you
encounter only rock and gravel, then snow & ice, even in summer.

The altitude of the Antarctic continent is........ ( I would need to look it up) I think there are several high peaks.
The NP is a floating ice sheet at sea level not a land mass.
The NP is in the the arctic ocean surrounded by continents. The SP is on a large continent surrounded by oceans.
Those are some of the reasons the poles have different characteristics, not because the earth is flat.

Almost Heaven West Virginia
"circle of the earth" = globe

From where I'm standing at any given time it could look round, if on a hill, or flat like in a field. However, my observation point is too limited. So it is a normal aircraft. Why?
The earth is far larger than our perception.
I ate an apple for lunch. The apple would be in inaccurate comparison model. The skin of an apple is thicker proportionally than the Earth's crust. The deep drilling rigs and fracking stations have not even penetrated all the way through.
