Remember... You said you hoped you were wrong.![]()
So far, God has said = "i'm doing very good believing His words."
Remember... You said you hoped you were wrong.![]()
Just for the recorded...
I do believe that photographs of the spherical Earth are flat.
He is making a joke. When I tapped on the three posible responses In the poll,I didn't see your name under the option saying the world Is flat.
I plan to give you a response when I can find/make time. Be patient.Yawn. Still no response.
Nobody needs to explain it, because it's a miracle. Let's focus on what is observable, repeat(able), and testable. Miracles aren't in that category. Northward shadows South of the Tropic of Capricorn are.I plan to give you a response when I can find/make time. Be patient.
In the meanwhile, you might want to study very carefully everything the Bible says about the earth, sun, moon, and stars.
I know you will probably say 'I already have.' - well, do it again and again if necessary - until you [at least] understand that the significance of the Opera House issue pales in comparison to - for example - the sun and moon standing still for ~24 hours.
Perhaps you might explain how this can even happen in the Ball Earth model...???

What???You mean Northward shadows in Sydney are not just a miracle?
How do you classify a miracle?
Anything that you cannot explain...???
Sorry - you are not getting off that easy.
Calling it a miracle is a cop-out.
I do not believe it was a miracle - in the sense of defying 'physics' as God set it up during Creation Week.
I believe God simply used a mechanism already in place since Creation Week to temporarily modify the behavior of the sun and moon.
You're welcome to your opinion, but you can neither prove it by Scripture nor by testing. It was a one-time event, outside the realm of testable science. What???You mean Northward shadows in Sydney are not just a miracle?

Meanwhile, you are STILL avoiding dealing with the Sydney Opera House shadows, YEARS after I originally posted the pictures. You're the one trying to "get off easy" by throwing up red herrings.
Take the case of the Apollo 8 astronauts-
3 men who had a limited time to speak to the largest audience ever known until that time-
conspired to hide God by reading the first 10 verses of Genesis about God creating The Earth and making it good.?
Even if the photograph of The Earth was phony, the scripture drew attention to God as the creator.
Think of the size of the audience that day. Does God's word return void?

The mechanism me uses to make northward shadows in Sydney is called a... flashlight!.

If God's word said that the earth is flat, I would agree with you. It does not. The Bible is silent about many things. You won't find a mention of the speed of light, or the principle of gravity. It talks about the rainbow, but does not explain how a droplet of water can act as a prism. God has left these mysteries for men to discover. The shape of the earth is such a mystery.NASA owns your mind.
It amazes me how duped people are and reject God's word about His Creation.

People are no more intelligent now than they were thousands of years ago. It's been known for over 2,000 years that the earth is a globe. It takes a special kind of blindness to ignore such overwhelming evidence and believe something that is patently false. I'll say it again: when FE people explore the earth and produce a real map that shows it to be flat, I will reconsider my position. But they won't. Because they cannot. Because the earth is a globe.
I just thought of another thing that definitely proves the world is flat!
There's no real evidence to show that it's carbonated! Sure, there are pockets of methene or whatever but for all intents and purposes, it's as flat as an old soda.
The fact that I am a born-again Christian is outside the realm of testable science - but, I believe it!You're welcome to your opinion, but you can neither prove it by Scripture nor by testing. It was a one-time event, outside the realm of testable science.
I am not avoiding anything.Meanwhile, you are STILL avoiding dealing with the Sydney Opera House shadows, YEARS after I originally posted the pictures.
Nope. Nothing like that. Absolutely not. You're the one trying to "get off easy" by throwing up red herrings.
You don't understand my limitations in this area. Perhaps I will explain it more later. Just keep in mind that the requirements for writing longer - and, especially, more in-depth/serious posts - go up "exponentially" with the length of the post and the depth of the intent of the post.I get it: you're busy. Not too busy to keep posting responses though.
