Yes. They can behave as "glass ceilings" at times. Rather abrupt changes over a very slight change in depth. They can be observed in ponds as well as lakes and oceans. The same principle would likely manifest at certain altitudes in the sky. Different types of clouds seem to ride at different altitudes. Are you talking about ocean waters, or something else?
So that would mean that it all broke and is not there anymore, yes? Some cavemen that believe in the Concave Hollow Earth, think that Libyan Glass fell from the sky during Noah's flood, so the water could drain, to flood the world.
I think William Shhhhatner may have shhhhhattered a few pieces when he shhhhot up a little while back. This glass could be what makes up the glass sky, really hard to prove, but it's interesting. My mom bought a rock when she went to Israel, but I don't think it's a rock, but it looks like Libyan glass. So, I might own a piece of heaven. The picture above is taken from off the web, but my glass looks identical.
It could have "healed". I am a Flat Earther, but believe there is a dome (firmament) over the Earth. There are rumours of "sky-ice" in Antarctica comprising the dome, which needs to be studied only in Antarctica, as it is too cold to transport elsewhere for study (nothing can keep it cold enough to prevent it sublimating). Rumour is that it is much lighter than ice and sky-blue in colour, but it sublimates rather than melts. Apparently, when they have tried to drill through it with a tunneling machine, it slowly regenerates over days and weeks (the tunneling machine got stuck and subsequently entombed). So that would mean that it all broke and is not there anymore, yes?

So, when Christians encounter flat earthers and concave hollow earthers, I
highly recommend conducting themselves in accord with the instructions
given at 2Tim 2:24-26.
I'm sure that God is very capable of patching things up whenever the necessity arises. It could have "healed". I am a Flat Earther, but believe there is a dome (firmament) over the Earth. Assuming the above is true (a fairly big assumption), the sky ice dome could have been opened during the Great Flood, and the waters above poured into Earth. Over time, the sky-ice dome would have healed and closed again (at the conclusion of the 40 days).

I used to watch his videos... "The Pink Sky Guy"!If my memory serves me right, there was this Creationist who was on TBN a long time ago, who theorized that our sky used to be pink, and it protected us more for sun's deadly rays. That's why they lived longer pre-flood, but that's just one man's theory. Who knows for sure?!?!
I lean pretty heavily on cavemen myself.I'm leaning on what most cavemen believe
If anything looked Hollywood, that did. Are you sure they weren't just reversing a take-off clip?I was more impressed by the booster's recovery. It came back to Earth on
target like landing a rocket in one of those old Flash Gordon serials. Very
impressive.

Seriously, he was a really smart man. He found human and dino tracks side by side in some riverbed somewhere.

I like that. The only way to get to heaven is by believing in Jesus, not having a flimsy space craft
They should have named their little movie "Tower of Babel II"and a Hollywood movie set.
I like that.
