Allowing one to elude to being a prophet of God and then to be dishonest is much sadder then pointing out the sin.
It boggles the mind.

And I was only assuming the holy spirit was preventing Paul to not go to a region of Asia for his safety and I get thinkirgh about as zero credibility for this.
How mean spirited it is Am hyn
do you feel better now are you standing tall and uprightThought this was both funny and timely
Here is an interesting little ditty sung to the tune of Ole MacDonald had a Farm
Chorus: (sung to the tune of Ole MacDonald had a Farm)
A trolling I will go
A trolling I will go
False statements and nonsense
A trolling I will go
Someone tried to be a prophet
(oh no oh no oh no)
And in his posts he made great boasts
(oh no oh no oh no)
With a big boast here and big boast there
Everywhere boasting jesting and joking
Someone tried to be a prophet
(oh no oh no oh no) repeat chorus
are you having lots of fun thereYou assume? Can't be a prophet then![]()
so you gained your approval of total disrespect for the spirit of prophecy, then you gained more confidence in you next barrage of insults after this post.Nope. And there won't be. I wonder that this nonsense is still allowed to continue here. I am positive most here recognize there is nothing genuine in all the attempts to put himself forward as a prophet.
It shrieks fake
ask God why you need a personal prophecy"For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5
"Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25
The scriptures assure me that Christ is there for me, so why do I need a personal prophecy. Honestly, the times I've encountered these so-called prophetic words, they seemed like an illegitimate attempt to take the place of Christ in the life of the person being prophesied over. The people doing this this seem to thrive off of people who lack direction or have difficulty making decisions for themselves; and frankly it's a little creepy. Instead of telling people "the Lord told me to tell you this," we should encourage them rely more on Jesus.
ask God why you need a personal prophecy
Because you should and God will tell you Jesus is the spirit of prophecy and God will tell you I may need to warn you about future danger. Why should I do that?

And now your sitting pretty.
And what will al this give you rewards in heaven ?
Because you should and God will tell you Jesus is the spirit of prophecy and God will tell you I may need to warn you about future danger.
Personal prophecy is big these days. A so-called prophet gives you a prophecy that he or she claims is directly from the Lord and meant specifically for you. Does this have any authority in scripture or are these "prophets" little more than psychic advisers? Have you ever been given a personal prophecy? What happened as a result? If not, how would you feel or react is someone tried to give you a personal prophecy?
You too @Niki7 ?
As bad as airing it in the public ?Allowing one to elude to being a prophet of God and then to be dishonest is much sadder then pointing out the sin.
Yup pretty bad when the sin is so public . Defend the misusing of God's gifts if you wish. The church needs to grow a back bone.As bad as airing it in the public ?
