Thank you for answering my question.

You didn't ask any questions?

I had overcome this sin though knowing I won't get married. I already stated that before. That's why I'm unashamed to say that the Holy Spirit had helped me be victorious over this sin! And all Christians have this ability because of the Holy Spirit! ☺️

If you're still masturbating, it's because this sin has enslaved you and you don't want to give it up to obey and please God.

🙏

If two people are married, and they masturbate to the thought of each other while separated, what does that amount to?

Friend, seems like way too much legalism to be enjoying the freedom from legalism being in Christ brings us.

There is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be shown.
As much as I'm free, I'd rather choose a way of life that glorifies the one who frees me. I may not be a slave to the letter, but I'm still subject to righteous judgment, so that when my works pass through the fire, it might not all get burned away.

Btw, if you can show it with scripture, go ahead. I haven't found your arguments that scripture mentions the topic convincing so far.
Masturbation leads to addiction to porn. I dare you to find anyone engaged in masturbation who performs the act with pure Godly thoughts such as God's intention of sex for procreation or to show honor of body between married Man and woman.

I've never experienced an addiction to porn. I have looked at porn, when I was a kid and we some dad's older issues of his playboy magazine. Pretty tame by today's standards. No porn after I grew up and met some real girls. The playboys got tossed out, lol.

And that leads me to believe that the porn nowadays must really be addictive and why wouldn't it be? Everything else is. I'm glad that I never looked at any of it. I like girls and loved my wife, but who wants to watch movies of other people. That's freaking weird. That means it's spiritual.

So it's the spirit of Porn, spirit of sexual immorality, spirit of lust, and who knows how many others that watching one porn clip would open the door to those evil spirits.

I love how some people try to technicality Masturbation somehow, lol. It's ok if you're married and think about your wife alone no others? Yeah that's not a slippery slope is it? I bet they play russian roulette too.

Lol.

I speak from experience. I had an addiction to porn that always led to the act of masturbation. Although I'm a single woman, I still felt consumed by lust and i had very unpure thoughts during. I prayed and prayed that God would take it away. I'm better these days. I don't look at it and I don't think of it.

I just think this is a way too overinflated and overblown issue like it's the biggest boon of satan.
If you hadn't heard beforehand how bitter and demonized this issue is discussed, would you have so much fear and trouble and anguish in taking self-contol?
Lust is a common temptation to all people, and genetals are fundamental parts of every human body, sex is a natural occurence necessary for procreation, and there are people who need to study these things to do their job; yet the language you guys use make people think they have a demon if they so much as think about a bit of a naked person.
How is it any worse than having a proud thought, an angry thought, a covetous thought, or any other commandment-breaking throught that a person might have in their day? It's written that people are judged by their works, not their little intrusive throughts.

People need to have a clear and rational mind towards things that cannot be removed from reality, not an irrational fear of them.

All of us confess that we committed the sin, and have had no intention of being wicked people, so what's the need for such harsh judgment? It can't be a sin leading to death, or a sin much worse than cursing, vainglory, lying in the moment, etc.

Just like people are able to have a drink and not become alcoholics, or decide to punch a pillow when they're angry instead of punching a person, I should be able to masturbate without falling into adversity.

we don’t address lust to instill irrational fear or judgment. We confront it because Jesus calls us to holiness:

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God.” (1 Thessalonians 4:3–5)

Yes, lust is common to all people, but so is pride, anger, or covetousness – and Christ died to set us free from all of them. The call isn’t to despair over every stray thought but to take them captive to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to walk in Spirit-led self-control (Galatians 5:16).

In summary: Lust is not “overblown,” but neither is it hopeless. The Bible warns it is serious because it corrupts the heart and body uniquely, but Christ provides both forgiveness and power to overcome it.

well this is just my input, having worked with a priest for six year who did 15 years of confessions when he was a church leader.

That there does indeed exist creatures of the unseen who pervert the mind with lust anyhow I wouldn't really want to go into detail.

But yeah theres really quite some disturbing stories of sexual immorality that my friend shared with me from real life confessions of people being totally ashamed of themselves.

So sexual immorality leads to all kinds of perversion, it's quite a big thing in the eyes of lord that we should all refrain from it.

This is the personal journey of me; I used to have all kinds of touble with a lot of unclean images in my mind, from all the porn I saw. When I tried to cut it out and stop the masturbation cold turkey, I was still greiviously tempted by the unclean images in my mind, day after day, never seeming to have it go away no matter how much I prayed.
I beleive the trick was that the devil was trying to get me to turn to pornography again; but instead I decided before God that I would masturbate without looking up porn. So I started to gain control of my mind, and started reshaping that area of thoughts to things that are more 'naturally' erotic, searching out things that are original to me, that make me feel truly flowery; and cutting out exerything that's depraved.
Now the temtations have mostly died away, and the desire to act on them are a lot more rare. But when the strong feelings do rise up, I'm not afraid to explore them with Gods guidance.

What do you mean when strong feelings come up, and explore them with Gods guidance.

Are you talking about overcoming temptation with God's guidance or are you saying instead of masterbating to watching porn, you'll ask God if it's ok to do it to something less lustful and then relieve those desires.

If so are you sure that's God guiding you ?

I've never seen such arguing fo an "all" allowance for this sin by so many.
The next thing you know all secret sin will be allowable because no one sees it.
