God tells us to commit NO sexual immoral acts. Now God uses the words sexual immoral because he is so so good. Masturbation is a selfish act. Im going to plead with you not to take any worldy advice on this topic. Listen very closely as if i had a microphone outside your house. Their are two sins that Jesus makes a clear point to never do that he mentions them over the others! Murder and Sexual immorality. In this society murder obviously has not gained that much leway that satan can lie to us that it is a good act to do. BUT, sexual immorality is one that is so bad in Gods eyes to do but over the years its almost an acceptable practice. Even Doctors encourage it! Be wise! Don't fall to the lies of this world saying its not sin. Because, all sexual acts apart from marriage is sin! God calls sexual relations, two becoming one flesh. A man and a woman becoming one! How beautiful and sacred. In my opinion, anything done apart from that is a sin. A person can live a Holy life, free from all sexuality! Believe this! I am urging you, keep yourself pure and free from that act. No good will come of it!

Just to add a little bit more to make it very clear and simple for you to understand. Sexual relationship was designed by God ONLY to be shared between a husband and a wife. It is not meant for any other purpose but that. Any sexual act apart from marriage including mastburation is a sin. So masturbation is a sin! I want you to know it deeply in your heart this truth so you will not allow any lies to enter in you to tempt you that it is something acceptable by God because it isnt. know it is a sin and dont do it. Make a stand ! Be courageous and strong and fight against that sin .

. Its difficult enough on you to resist the flesh, the evil lusfull things in this world to have any doubt floating around in you. Im telling you the truth. Make your stand against this sin. You CAN do this

Not only that, Brother, but I seem to remember that we are to to surrender our will unto His will in our lives. So Masturbation could be defined as no total surrender!

For a person to know to do right and does not do it, it is sin for him.
Is there an indication this is displeasing to God?

What about eating food that is very rich, or getting massages, or watching TV, or playing sports, or other 'self-indulgent' things people do?

Hey I have a good question!

Does Masturbation open the door to demonic spirits to enter?

Is there a spirit of Masturbation?
Does the Bible teach that masturbation (or even straight up fornication) for that meaning is assigned to a specific demon, or opens doors for demons? I can't think of anywhere that this is directly taught in scripture. One can fellowship (have common union) with demons through eating meat offered to idols according to I Corinthians 10.

Self-gratification is more of a gentle term for over Masturbation. Masturbation is sin because it is it is an act that was not intended to be done. And if it was not worn the only example we have is one person and God was mad at him. So The only Biblical example we have is not godly.

What are you talking about? It seems more obvious that Onan was doing coitus interruptus. Such a thing doesn't really float my boat, but he could have timed it well and not masturbated. This seems quite a stretch. Using this as a passage against birth control is a stronger argument.

Leviticus 18 has a long list of sexual sins. Masturbation isn't listed. There are other passages that mention sexual sins, like the girl who doesn't keep her virginity and is married off as a virgin or rape and seduction passages. Masturbation isn't mentioned, certainly not clearly where it comes out in English translation.

There are many actions done today that are not listed in the Bible which if one does so is still sin.

"Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it." James 4:17.

Are you saying the good that one ought to do is 'not masturbating'? Is there anything in the passage that hints at that interpretation?

Again, the married couple must work out their own issues in Thier Bedroom. FYI, I have been married for 32 years so I know fully well many of those points you use.

Um, that doesn't answer the point. If it's a sin, it's a sin for some guy to get or keep himself 'ready' or a woman to help push herself over the edge during the act. What if she's just doing that to arouse her husband? So now it's ___their__ bedroom, but before... masturbation is an outright sin.

The truth is many people put too much priority on sex. The flip side of the coin in contrast to the husband and wife who have a great intimate relationship, yet the husband commits adultery still enrages in self-gratification. There is no issue there. What message is he sanding to his wife who is answering the "need" yet he found it elsewhere with other women or alone?
The broken Prostate issue again I said medical issues speak for themselves yet those who want to justify a sin by using and excuse that is self-evident. The ole make it sound unreasonable.

I'm sure there have been people who haven't masturbated who had prostate issues because they weren't comfortable with it or considered it a sin. Antonie van Leeuwenhoek claimed to have extracted a sample to view under a microscope after intercourse. Otherwise, he could have masturbated for 'scientific purposes', but no doubt some church authorities could have condemned the practice if he had stated that. There is no universal agreement of those who say that masturbation is sinful that medical options are exceptions.

And again, would committing adultery __ever___ be justified, for medical purposes? I'd say no. Wouldn't you agree? If masturbation is different, why?

Is there an indication this is displeasing to God?

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

God DOES see you when you masturbate so you should ask Him if He is pleased or displeased with your of acts of self-gratification.

Also, are your thoughts pure while you're trying to drive yourself over the edge. Is God pleased or displeased with your thoughts?

I honestly can't imagine God (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, along who knows how many angels He assigned to you) being pleased at having to see you do it.

Also consider the flip-side: Does self-gratification and the thoughts or images that drive it please satan and his demons?

Does the Bible teach that masturbation (or even straight up fornication) for that meaning is assigned to a specific demon, or opens doors for demons? I can't think of anywhere that this is directly taught in scripture. One can fellowship (have common union) with demons through eating meat offered to idols according to I Corinthians 10.

An "open door" is anything that would give the enemy the upper hand in your life or that would cause you to lower your guard against the lies of satan - and this would definitely displease God.

I think it's not mentioned specifically as a sin to open doors to demons because in actuality, most, if not all sins, open doors to demons. If God had to be more specific, the Bible would be thicker than it already is.

Leviticus 18 has a long list of sexual sins. Masturbation isn't listed. The word "trinity" isn't in the Bible either, but I know you believe it.

Masturbation falls under the category of sexual immorality, sexual impurity, lewdness - those are explicitly listed in the Bible of sins we should stop committing when we become Christians. As with the previous topic, if God had to list every act of sexual immorality, impurity and lewdness, etc., the Bible will be thicker than it already is. God uses an economy of words to keep the Bible from getting too thick and tedious.

Overcoming masturbation and other sins - God has a very simple solution:

Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

A list of acts of the flesh that should be avoided - look up the words in purple and how they relate to masturbation:

Galatians 5:19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

What a strange response. I won't argue with you about it. If giving yourself a Selfie is your choice then That's up to you. This subject is sort of one of those that is, for those with ears to ear.

I remember a blurb of a testimony that Pastor Derek Prince said during one of his sermons. He said a man came to the church and asked if Derek would deliver him from the spirit of lust. So Derek said I can walk you through it and then it will be totally gone, is this what you want?

And the guy said, but he's my best friend...So Derek said well I can't help you then!

There's plenty of verses in scripture which forbid masturbation. Look at Matthew 5:28 and think about what takes place during masturbation. Does the man watch porn? Images of women? I'll bet he does. So a man should be smart enough to reach a conclusion from Matt. 5:28 and realize that of course that would be adultery against God Him self, since we have given our life to Him. You can't assert that since scripture doesn't name masturbation specifically that it must be ok. That's ridiculous and sounds like he is friends with the spirit of lust also.
So twist it however you want to, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that sexual immorality is depraving and will definitely lead into more depravity if you do any of it.

You can't invite an evil spirit in when you're trying to walk with God. A man can not serve two masters. So...have fun? Whatever.

Again the context of self-gratification as I have addressed an repeatedly said Medical issues are JUST That.

I also said repeatedly that masturbation is not the cause it is and effect of something deeper. Then it seem you are pointing at other issues that are in some way to justify a wrong by saying "look over here at this wrong."

Just because an action is not listed as sin doesn't mean that action is not sinful. There are vast amount of things that are sinful that are covered under :

  • perversion
  • wickedness
  • inequity
  • sexual perversion
  • godlessness
  • sexual impurity
  • shameful lusts
This cover a whole host of things.

"What if she's just doing that to arouse her husband?"

Again the wife and husband bedroom is none of your business. Using secular reasoning and trying to make one or God seem so unreasonable sound just like the snake in the garden " you shall not surely die."

Jesus said lust in the heart. and only you and God knows what drive one to do this. What I can tell you is pornography has played a big roll in the downfall of many men of God and this action 99% of the time was done out of perversion. You know it.

I know I didn't have a lot of sex in my life. I got saved as a teenager so had to dump my boyfriend at the time and stopped having sex. After that, I didn't want to get married. So not much sex!

But aren't couples suppose to do things to each other instead of gratifying themselves separately to push them both to the edge?

I didn't know this was a thing?

I always thought couples are suppose to communicate to each other what they should do to each other and "git gud" with those acts that please their spouse, not have to masturbate separately.

I agree sexual relation should be a reinforcing of what is already there. the act is built on the love of each other where the act of the other is built on lust and perversion and selfishness.

Again the context of self-gratification as I have addressed an repeatedly said Medical issues are JUST That.

If masturbation is a sin, then if masturbating for medical purposes, doing it for the doctor is okay in your book, why wouldn't having intercourse with the nurse... to get a sample... be okay? 'Thou shalt not commit adultery' is in the Bible. Masturbation isn't specifically mentioned.

I also said repeatedly that masturbation is not the cause it is and effect of something deeper. Then it seem you are pointing at other issues that are in some way to justify a wrong by saying "look over here at this wrong."

I'm saying back up your teachings with scripture, not loose reasoning.

Just because an action is not listed as sin doesn't mean that action is not sinful. There are vast amount of things that are sinful that are covered under :

  • perversion
  • wickedness
  • Those are terms that can be used to describe other sins. 'Wickedness' might translate a stronger word to describe especially egregious sin.
    [*]inequity
    [*]sexual perversion
    [*]godlessness
    [*]sexual impurity
    [*]shameful lusts

Broad categories of sin. Shameful lusts tempt people to commit shameful sins.

This cover a whole host of things.

"What if she's just doing that to arouse her husband?"

Again the wife and husband bedroom is none of your business. Using secular reasoning

Solo masturbation could occur in a bedroom. So could adultery. Are those nobody's business? If it's sinful and it occurs in a bedroom, it's still sinful, and occurring in a bedroom doesn't make it nobody's business.

and trying to make one or God seem so unreasonable sound just like the snake in the garden " you shall not surely die."[/quote]

Non sequitur. Where is the logical connection to what we were talking about.

Jesus said lust in the heart. and only you and God knows what drive one to do this. What I can tell you is pornography has played a big roll in the downfall of many men of God and this action 99% of the time was done out of perversion. You know it.
I was surprised to learn that there were porn addicts depriving their wives. I'd have thought porn would have worked them up and the problem would be when their wives found out, they would feel like the men were thinking about other women (which probably happens too.) But there are married men who get addicted to the dopamine, watch porn, masturbate, then deprive their wives. There are two sin issues here--- looking at women with lust, and depriving the wife. Of course, single men can do the same thing.

But not everyone who has masturbated was looking at online porn. The word masturbate existed when I was a teenager, and there was no online porn, and kids that wanted porn had to go through an adult at a counter at the convenience store, when the porn was behind the counter, or steal some from an adult who was into that. My guess is fewer adults were into that many decades ago. I also heard or read once about a landlady who peeped through a keyhole at a tenant and had a man arrested for masturbation in California back in the 1800s. There were likely some people who masturbated before photos were invented. Maybe they were staring at cave paintings.

Again, my issue here is people throwing around accusations and adjectives without having solid scriptural arguments for what they are accusing others of. The teenager who gets wound up and relieves some pressure or tension or whatever, or even the married couple in the examples mentioned before, the husband getting fertility exams, etc. are all condemned by some of the rhetoric on this forum (you carve out exceptions for the latter two.) The theological reasoning for no birth control is pretty similar to that used for outlawing masturbation. You've got to take a few 'leaps' that aren't supported by scripture to arrive at the conclusions. I'm pointing that out. John wrote that sin is the transgression of the law.

What a strange response.

I find the worldview that if there is a sin or a problem, there MUST be a specific demon behind that problem, named specifically after that problem, to be a bit strange. That's the thinking of ____some___ Charismatics, not all, and less common with Pentecostals. I cannot think of any cases in scripture where a demon was cast out of someone to keep that person from sinning. A demon may have enabled a fortune-teller to fortune tell in Acts, and on occasion Jesus cast out a demon associated with an ailment, but Matthew 4 lists evil spirits as a separate category from various ailments that Jesus cured.

If I believed that, I might wonder if people who believed this had a spirit of naming problems after spirits.

There's plenty of verses in scripture which forbid masturbation. Look at Matthew 5:28 and think about what takes place during masturbation. Does the man watch porn? Images of women? I'll bet he does.

That verse doesn't mention masturbation. What man is this? A man is not to look at a woman in order to covet her. He doesn't have to even see her naked for that. He doesn't have to masturbate to do that. Why would a man have to covet a woman or think about a specific woman to masturbate? What if a married man thought about his own wife?

Masturbation existed before Internet porn was widely available. When I was in high school, the Internet was some text thing used by NASA. Some kids still joked and made nasty comments about masturbation. Was there no masturbation ion earth before 1826, before the first photograph? If we dug, we could probably find some historical references, maybe some guidelines for priests' requiring penance in the middle ages or something from ancient Rome.

I'm wondering if some people read a certain set of life experiences into some of these passages.

So a man should be smart enough to reach a conclusion from Matt. 5:28 and realize that of course that would be adultery against God Him self, since we have given our life to Him.
Why are you saying this? Is it because you have experience with this and every time you did this you lusted for a woman? If that is your experience, does that mean it was the experience of everyone who masturbated?

You can't assert that since scripture doesn't name masturbation specifically that it must be ok. That's ridiculous and sounds like he is friends with the spirit of lust also.

I've already posted that masturbation isn't something I'd encourage people to do, but it also isn't something I'm going to speak out and condemn people as sinners for doing, since I can't find scripture to back that up. I'll speak out against looking with lust... and masturbation doesn't have to occur for that to happen.

You seem to be implying that I have 'the spirit of lust.' First of all, do you actually have any 'revelation' behind your worldview and accusation of people having demons? If you are wrong, you could be slandering someone, which is actually a sin. In your own worldview, would youthink that that would have to necessitate your getting demon-possessed by a slander demon for that to even occur? I believe ___people___ can sin, whether demons directly tempt them or not., btw I wouldn't want to accuse someone of having a 'spirit' without something revelatory to back that up, something from scripture or from the Holy Spirit. Telling baby believers they have demons when they don't can mess with their heads, so you'd better be careful.

So twist it however you want to, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that sexual immorality is depraving and will definitely lead into more depravity if you do any of it.

If you've got not evidence from scripture, you can just use implied accusations and rhetoric like this to 'strengthen' your arguments I suppose.

You can't invite an evil spirit in when you're trying to walk with God. A man can not serve two masters. So...have fun? Whatever.
I don't want to 'invite an evil spirit in.' You should be careful not to accuse others. That's one of my concerns here. I don't know if it is true that over 95% or 96% of men have masturbated. I don't want to accuse them of sin if I don't have scripture to back it up. I'm not encouraging it, but I'm not going to condemn without a basis.

I would encourage you to really dig deeply into the Bible about what you believe and about your worldview. You mentioned Derek Prince. i like Derek Prince, I mean the late Derek Prince's videos and materials. But I am wary of some of his demonology and that sort of thing. Everything needs to be evaluated against what is revealed in scripture. I don't see the idea that if there is a sin, social ill, or problem, that there MUST be a demon named after that specific problem. That idea has run wild in Charismania since.

Why don't we talk about how God does SEE when YOU masturbate? But I haven't been in your bedroom, so I can't say that you do. This is one of those cases not to use 'you.'

Again, I'm not telling people to masturbate. I'm not encouraging it. I'm saying I don't have scripture to condemn it. I am happy that I have a wife. I'm also getting kind of old. This issue is a bit more pressing with the young and single.

As for the passage, it is about fornication. The specific example in the passage is not having sex with prostitutes. In chapter 5 a man who had his father's wife was a fornicator. Masturbation isn't mentioned, not in some way that is clear in English translation at least.

Also, are your thoughts pure while you're trying to drive yourself over the edge. Is God pleased or displeased with your thoughts?

What about your thoughts when you are going over the edge? Oh yeah, I don't know if you do that. Keep in mind that a lot of young men are told to think about baseball when they are with their wives so as not to go over the edge too quickly. I'm not sure why lustful thoughts would be required for the young, those who are most likely to find this issue an urgent matter to resolve.

But there are Christians who do not consider masturbation to be a sin. There is a Christian marriage/sex forum online that has some people who think that way. Dr. James Dobson from Focus on the Family was of that opinion.

I honestly can't imagine God (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, along who knows how many angels He assigned to you) being pleased at having to see you do it.

There was some ancient commentator, one who is often called 'St.' who said the Holy Spirit left the room when married couples had sex. I would imagine their are some 12-year-old girls who would feel ashamed to think of God knowing about their first period also.

I think it's not mentioned specifically as a sin to open doors to demons because in actuality, most, if not all sins, open doors to demons. If God had to be more specific, the Bible would be thicker than it already is.

I can't think of any scriptures that talks about any sin that 'opens doors' to demons. Eating at an idols temple is having fellowship with demons. Paul warns about Satan getting an advantage over his readers.

But this modern stuff that fornication opens one up to demons, or letting someone lay hands on you opens doors to demons... then I've seen assertions about all kinds of things opening doors to demons.... a lot of modern demonology doesn't have a lot of specific scripture to back it up. I've heard some really weird stuff about this as of late.

Masturbation falls under the category of sexual immorality, sexual impurity, lewdness
Do you have some scripture to back that up? There are a number of specific sins mentioned that are sexual immorality? How do you know that masturbation doesn't fall into the category of an emission in the war camp at night... as opposed to Leviticus 18 and 20 sins where it is noticeably not mentioned. Were there no masturbators in ancient Israel? Internet porn hadn't been invented, so does that mean no one had ever masturbated?

- those are explicitly listed in the Bible of sins we should stop committing when we become Christians. As with the previous topic, if God had to list every act of sexual immorality, impurity and lewdness, etc., the Bible will be thicker than it already is. God uses an economy of words to keep the Bible from getting too thick and tedious.

The Bible doesn't say to abstain from eating chocolate. it doesn't say not to watch TV, or drive cars, etc. Does that prove these things are sinful? Does that mean the Amish are right?

Those who are single and married who masterbate are filled with lust & adultery, because they can't keep their imagination pure. There are all kinds of temptation to imagine a spouse with more than they have, or for a favorite/famous beautiful person of the world, or someone much younger & sexier than their spouse. Those who say they can will be put to the test.

Do you have a certain set of experiences that leads you to believe that one who masturbates MUST do so with impure thoughts? And if so, how would you know that applies to everyone? You mentioned married masturbators. How would you know they don't do so while thinking of their wives or husbands?

Have you ever had a mid-life crisis?
I cannot understand how a person such as yourself not understand that Satan has so many strongholds in the earth today with perversion, porn, more sex on tv, more sex in music, more teens having sex, many more singles shacking up, far less marriage, and yet, in spite of all this perversion, wonder if masterbation is really a sin. If singles are committing adultery doing it then so are the married that do it.
God doesn't show partiality with sin. Sin is sin.
With all the temptation in the world, it would be ludicrous to think a married man in his flesh could masterbate without imagining something perverted.
I'm 62 & will not go to a public pool because I don't trust myself with so many girls around.
Joseph ran because he had to. Can you see righteous Joseph doing such a thing? What about Jesus?
Me personally, I think little kids could ask themselves, "what would Jesus do?" and come to the conclusion, "He wouldn't".

Rom 1: 28And just as they did not see fit [v]to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper, 29people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are gossips, 30slanderers, [w]haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31without understanding, untrustworthy, unfeeling, and unmerciful; 32and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

Doesn't quite match, but is something to think about. If it's bad for them to approve it, it's bad for us to approve it too.

Why don't we talk about how God does SEE when YOU masturbate? But I haven't been in your bedroom, so I can't say that you do. This is one of those cases not to use 'you.'

Honestly, I don't masturbate.

I don't have any desire or need to because of the Holy Spirit. He's that powerful. If something is a sin, even a habitual sin, the Holy Spirit can help you conquer it!

From what I remember from being with my ex-boyfriend, I was just enjoying the sensation of it. I didn't have to think about sexy stuff because I was already in that moment.

Also, my ex-boyfriend and I never had to masturbate separately, because we were too busy doing things to each other.

I didn't know that other people had to think of sexy stuff?

No, the Bible says God (which includes the Holy Spirit) sees everyone and everything.

I'm pretty sure that He saw me too before I got saved. But I got saved and He helped me to let go of that.

It was fun, but I don't miss it. The "not missing it" is God's work in me!

There's scripture for that.

It's embedded in this paragraph, verse 27:

Ephesians 4:25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.

In this passage, Jesus had just previously cast a demon out of a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute. Jesus is speaking about how demons can enter a person's life:

Matthew 12:43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

Sin will open a door (or foothold) and let demons in to your life as Jesus said. If you haven't allowed the Holy Spirit to occupy all areas of your life, they will can come in and oppress you through that.

Like I said before, you can't see "masturbation" as part of sexual immorality which is listed in the Bible because you love this sin and want to justify continuing to do it.

The Bible doesn't say to abstain from eating chocolate. it doesn't say not to watch TV, or drive cars, etc. Does that prove these things are sinful? Does that mean the Amish are right?

This was just dumb. See what masturbating is doing to you? You're not seeking wisdom and understanding from the Holy Spirit so you can't even read the Bible properly.

You accept that "trinity" is not the Bible but not "masturbation" because this is a sin you can't let go.

I get this from some people when alcohol comes up. I've tasted beer and wine a few times in my life. But I'm not a drinker, but you point out that the Bible doesn't say it's a sin to drink, and some religious people will accuse you of being a social drinker, a drunk, loving sin, or whatever. If you don't have a solid argument, you can just call the other person a wanker I suppose.

From what I remember from being with my ex-boyfriend, I was just enjoying the sensation of it. I didn't have to think about sexy stuff because I was already in that moment.

Also, my ex-boyfriend and I never had to masturbate separately, because we were too busy doing things to each other.

I never had sex with a girlfriend. My wife and I waited until we got married. We were both Christians. I've got an 'outlet' through marriage a lot of singles don't, and a lot of them are younger than I am. If some of them masturbate from time to time, do you have any __scriptures___ that accuse them of sin for doing so. There are chapters that list sexual sins. Where is this mentioned?

They are not my God, so I don't care what other Christians think.

Do you care what God thinks? Where has God revealed that this is a sin?

In the Bible, there are certain people that are demonized. Typically, they are raving. It may throw them to the ground, speak through them. Then there is the issue of the world being under the power of the evil one. But not everyone is laying on the ground with demons talking through them or breaking chains with superhuman strength. The verses you quoted didn't say that anyone who sins is demonized. Is that what you believe?

Like I said before, you can't see "masturbation" as part of sexual immorality which is listed in the Bible because you love this sin and want to justify continuing to do it.

Do you love assuming and accusing others? What do you do on the alcohol threads? You could see wearing jeans or red dresses as part of sexual immorality. But does the Bible teach that? I've heard both mentioned in preaching.

This was just dumb. See what masturbating is doing to you? You're not seeking wisdom and understanding from the Holy Spirit so you can't even read the Bible properly.

I'm pointing out arguments that seem dumb to me and making parallel arguments. Have you been doing this yourself?
