thought this was an interesting article. here's an excerpt, its about defending Christianity against a question Muslim and anaylzes the Koran and the Bible about if God Deceives? it was on another thread but I think we should all read it.

Rejecting him as the Son of God was serious. How serious was it to reject Mohammed as a prophet? The message that Jesus gave was life giving. Mohammed’s message was life-threatening, believe or else! Judgment in the Christian sense is left to the end of the world. Judgment in Mohammed’s sense was immediate, believe now or death is your reward for not believing.

I was shocked to read that a Koran Burning led to the deaths of nine people, thats just stupid. What it says to me is that they have no faith in their god.They think that they are the ones who need to take revenge and their god hasn't the ability to do it on his own.
What a waste of life and murder all for some stupid thing. It wouldn't be a stupid thing if they were willing to die to get words to others who don't have those words as many Christians have died and die still doing that (even though we don't murder people not supposed to anyway.) , but from what I understand these people have tons of Korans. If they burnt a Bible, it wouldn't bother me at all, I used to chop up old falling apart Bibles and paste them in notepads to help with my notes.

we do not judge them according to the flesh but according to the words that proceeds out of the mouth of their prophet and Islamic followers.
For what proceedth out of the mouth shows what dwells in the heart of a person.
Many profess very bibilical sounding things, but when you dig deeper it is just another demon parading as GOD.
why do you think Satan was casted out of HEAVEN? He told everyone HE was GOD.

I couldn't believe that Florida Pastor Terry Jones actually went through with burning the Quran. He was warned last year that if he went through with this he would be endangering lives; and now it has come to pass! What bible has he read that would condone such hateful behavior? What is his true motive? How do irresponsible and thoughtless actions glorify Christ? I was livid when I read that! Why did the American media keep something that volatile so quiet?

you contradict yourself within a matter of a sentence. how can Islam be evil and not muslims? or how can muslims be good while Islam is evil? since Muslims are those who out of their free will choose willingly to submit (to be in s state of Islam) to their Creator, what make them muslims is their very desir to lead their life by islamic principles, to submit to God Almighty and live according to that which He revealed. so either Islam and Muslims are good, or Islam and Muslims are evil, at least be consistent.
