A conclusion from what scripture teaches...baptism is necessary....without it no spirit baptism. You conclude as you wish...be guided by scripture.

Ezekiel prophesied that on would be cleansed with water prior to receiving the Spirit. EZ 36: 25-27
Jesus submitted to water baptism prior to water to receiving the Spirit.
Acts 2: 38, 39 states that all who repent and are baptized will receive the Holy Spirit as a gift.
Seems to be from God.

Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
Acts 2:38,39 is not water baptism. Wrong Greek word to be water must be Holy Spirit. One baptized in the Holy Spirit is saved and the Holy Spirit remains that being the gift of the Holy Spirit. The sealing promise of salvation.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Salvation by grace through faith not of works.
We seek sound doctrine not proof texting which distorts context to create a pretext.

Why would Peter order or command Cornelius and his people to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ after they had received and been baptized in the Spirit. Many tell us that the baptism in the Spirit is sufficient for salvation, and that baptism in water in the name of Christ is not essential. Jesus, however, tells a different story. He said, “Truly, truly, I say unto you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Sounds pretty essential. We must be born of both water and Spirit.
To me, this strongly implies that we must be baptized in both water and Spirit. How can we be born, come forth from water, literally, unless we have first been immersed in water? How can we be born, come forth from the Spirit, metaphorically, (the Spirit is not a physical entity) unless we have been immersed in the Spirit?
Jesus instructed His disciple to go to all nations (Matt. 28: 19 , all creation (Mark 16: 15), to the Jew and their children, to those far off (Gentile, Eph. 2: 17) and to all that God shall call to Himself. (Acts 2: 39) These were to be baptized in water in the name of Christ. First Corinthians 12: 13 tells us that we all have been baptized in the Spirit into the body of Christ. Yet there is one baptism. To me, we must recognize that there are two elements, water and Spirit, yet one baptism.
We need both elements and the blessings they bring to our lives.

The "water" mentioned in John 3:5 is not the water of baptism (as many believe). It is the water of the Word of God -- the Gospel. The apostle Peter clarifies this for us:
1 PETER 1
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
The New Birth is supernatural and comes about through the POWER of the Gospel (Rom 1:16) and the POWER of the Holy Spirit (John 16:7-11).
Water baptism follows the gift of the Holy Spirit and regeneration by the power of the Spirit. (Acts 2:28)
Acts 10:41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 ¶ While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Peter and the other Jews present had never seen Gentiles saved and giving evidence of he Holy Spirit prior to this event. Salvation before the order to give water baptism. Speaking in tongues before water baptism per verse 46. Peter was so averse to evangelizing Gentiles he had to be convinced by a vision from God to go and preach to Cornelius.

The true baptism occurs during salvation.
1 Cor 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews and the Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit."
Water baptism is the first commandment given to a new believer, who publicly proclaims to the world and themselves that they are dead to sin being buried with Jesus in death and are raised in the newness of life to follow the Spirit. That is an important rite is seen in:
1 Cor 15:29 "Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?"
Which was a proxy baptism on behalf of those who died before they could be baptized for themselves.

Jews are not baptized....they do not believe in Christ.
There are some Hebrews who are Christian and are baptized.

Acts 13:24 "when John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel."
Acts 19: 3-5 "And he said unto them, Unto then what were ye baptized? And they said, unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe upon him which should come after him, that is, Jesus Christ. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."
The church of Jesus Christ at the beginning was composed entirely of Jewish people. It wasn't until after Peter was sent to Cornelius and the Italian Band by the Spirit before the Gentiles were accepted as brothers by the Jewish believers. Even then, it wasn't until Paul; that the ministry of the church toward the Gentiles went into full swing.

There you go with immersion only. Ignoring the fact that many gospel preaching denominations use the other modes of baptism, sprinkling and pouring. You are right and all others are wrong. Since the early elders created the creeds as a statement of what a Christian must believe and mode of baptism is not mentioned, therefore it is to agree to disagree. That concept seems to be outside of your understanding.
You need to read the great commission.
