By the time someone reaches an age where they can decide to receive Jesus Christ, they have been foreknown by God since conception. Everyone is foreknown by God and predestined for salvation. Communion with God is a state God wants everyone to reach, but we get to choose whether that kind of life is what we want. And many decide they don't want communion with unselfish holiness.

Judas was foreknown and predestinated to walk a path to salvation. He chose a different path with a different end.
Those who are saved have assurance through the Holy Spirit that they are saved.
God knew every person before He formed the man from the dust of the ground. He knew every decision that any person was going to make. So the only thing God predetermined was that those that believed Him and accepted the sacrifice offered for their sins would spend eternity with Him.
But each person has to accept God's offer of a full pardon to receive eternal life.

So. the saved know they are saved, and since it is personal knowledge, you have no way of knowing who is or is not saved, even if they don't meet your standards for being Christian?
It seems to me that since God is the final judge, God also has the ability to decide who has properly repented and who has not, totally independent of the individual and what they claim has occurred.

It seems there will be those that choose not God and self or other's selves over God, and still think they in, by the work they have done or do through others leading them.

And I went out from early age to be good, and saw I am not good, yet fought to be good. Then saw finally only my Daddy, PaPa, Father is good (Includes Jesus, being perfectly obedient to Father). Once that became in me, I changed and saw me as no good in the first born flesh. Needed to be born new in God Father through risen Son. Dad has done it for me and all to believe it and be new in love and mercy to all too. I mean who else, being perfect would go to a cross and die willingly? To see in the resurrection it is for new life to abide through us in love and mercy to all too, thank you.

Amen we’re all learning hopefully in our hearts en lives and ways as we pursue and seek the lord more and more . Jesus in the gospel is the true revelation of God rhe Father . What I mean is getting to know Jesus in the gospel is the only way to actually get to know God the father as we learn from the lord
