btw, when I was a grad student, I dated the MIT librarian who had a male Himalayan cat named Boris. Boris used to cuddle with all of Marilyn's female friends. But he just hated me. So when I'd arrive at Marilyn's apartment, Boris would stand in front of me and hiss! Then if we watched TV and I put my arm around Marilyn on the couch, Boris would sneak up behind me atop the couch, breathe hard and hot behind my neck, and gentiy bite my ear, immediately leaping down to the floor in front of me to see if I got the message. And when he saw that I didn't, he would hiss at me is disgust and walk haughtily away. As far as Boris was concerned, Marilyn was his cat woman and I was an unwanted rival. Prior to that, I had no idea that cats noticed the difference between male and female humans! So if you keep posting, I'm gonna report the offense I take at your male cat! And you're gonna get deleted! Grrr
