Yeah all true this earth is already done for but wow you make your own bread with grain? that is really cool
Mostly with rye but I change a lot. You can make it yourself too :)
Google the recipy for manna bread. It’s so easy. I always have dough for it in the fridge and eat each slice of bread fresh oven baked.

We must not think this earth is done for while generations are following in our traces. We must return to our essence and only take as much we need. Baking your own bread is a very economical way to start.

I heard theres a vault up in Norway that is storing seeds from plants all over the world, in the event of a catastrophe that we need to replant the earth again. Plants that are edible are given priority.

of course the very first Eden God Himself planted the garden. I wonder what it was like, a garden where you could eat from all the plants and trees except the fruit of ONE tree.

I imagine they had a chocolate/cocoa tree, and mangoes, as well as feijoas, apples and oranges.

So i imagine a food forest and vege patch. It doesnt say how big this garden was. When people think of a garden they often think of something ornamental but I imagine it was as said in the Bible pleasant to the sight as well as edible
Yes. The garden was where we simply took what was there. What was created for us.
But after the fall we started taking more and more and deforrested our own garden into big ugly cities.

What do you think was Eden like before the fall?
Eden is called Paradise, and that says it all. Only God really knows how wonderful it was. Eden was in modern day Iraq, but is now within the New Jerusalem. Therefore it does not need to be re-created.

the industrial age really polluted the earth.
are you suggesting man has this thing against trees.

because Im interested...and I like gardens.
Then read scripture and have faith in every word, for that will lead you to living in the Garden of Eden where God wants us all to live.

Man was turned out of the Garden of Eden, but through Christ we are given the key to its entrance.

Probably the same as it was before the fall as you call it.

Nothing said that the garden fell, which reminds me that I need to stratify some black walnut nuts for planting this next spring.
I think you're aware that The Fall refers to the fall of Adam and Eve and subsequently due to that all of humankind.

I believe it was lush and beautiful ... peaceful and just a wonderful garden and mankind was to tend the garden and keep it.

According to Gen 1:29-30, God gave every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

And according to Gen 2:9, out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food.

I do not believe the plant-life we see today is exactly like what was in Eden. I believe a lot changed at the time of the flood.

Before the flood, a mist came up and watered the garden (Gen 2:6) and the plant-life was good for food.

After the flood, God told Noah Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things (Gen 9:3). A lot happened to the earth at the time of the flood ... everything changed. Animal life was added to plant-life in order to provide nutritional sustenance to mankind.

Still buy them as I have only an Urban Farm in the making. Probably will buy them forever because it’s cheap enough. I pay 1,50 euro for 500 gram rye and I eat about half a week of that.

I am investing in a large rack and steril boxes to grow my own mushrooms as meat replacer.
Really we don’t need 99 procent of what we consume and we can take matter in own hands relieving our earth and others.

What do you think was Eden like before the fall? Can it ever be recreated? Where exactly on earth was it?
Heaven on earth. We will see heaven one day God willing. Have no idea where on this earth Eden was located, and not sure any person knows exactly where it was either.

just wondering if its easy to grow
Im supposing rye plant is differnt from rye grass or is the same. Because if its the same we could just not cut our lawns, let it go to seed and make bread from that.

I havent had much luck with mushrooms I think best to grow them on logs in a damp shady spot. I was given this mushroom box but the instructions were so complicated I gave up.

I think in the real Eden God just had all edible plants happily growing of every description and the right climate and conditions.
didnt need to buy anything, it was all free.

Im thinking it was near the location what is now the promised land (israel) but possibly got flooded and under what is now the mediterranean or black sea. I think if scientists traced back the movements of all edible plants to their origins they might be able to figure it out.

Because its said in the Bible that He gave Adam all the herbs bearing seed and fruit bearing trees. With the flood it was all dispersed but Noah obviously had grapes on board the ark and was familiar with olives. And those plants are native to the mediterranean.

I am aware that people who have no teacher claim that Adam and Eve fell but then again that think they are going to live forever but what is your point?

If you believe that the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us is the reason you believe Adam and Eve fell then do you even have a point?

After the flood its said in thr Bible that the earth has springtime and harvest that would never cease. Now you dont really get springtime and harvest in some parts of the world near the equator and plants can grow year round, which I imagine was how Eden was, they never had extremes of weather like winter where everything was frozen.

why we have seasons is because the earth is on an axis, so in winter there are longer nights and summer we have longer days. Originally the earth was not like this. It would have spun perfectly and we wouldnt have had extremes of weather.

I imagine the flood scattered a lot of edible plants all over the word, and of course humans took them with them wherever they went, but not everyone had everything, and edible plants cannt grow in certain areas of the world where the climates that dont suit them.

Yes brother, very easy once you know what you are doing. Once you have mycelium cultures in jars or on agar in petrisdishes you can cultivate endlessly.
It would simply take a lot of place to grow rye, but growing mushrooms as meatreplacer can be done logisticly and in cunning ways; using your space the right way.

You can take oyster mushrooms from the store, chop it with a sterile knife and throw that in coffee ground, which is in a steril box. Then you place that for several weeks in a dark place until the spores have colonized the entire box. Give it high humidity and air and wait. It is easy, cheap and practicly free.

From the book of sarcasm 1:1. Following the preface entitled, I'm not adult enough to discuss theology.
How sad.

I love mushrooms so I might try again, I didnt know they grew on coffee grounds. The box I was given had a grass like mixture and said to put boiling water on it then the spores but it didnt work.

I have no scriptural evidence of this but I had a dream where it felt like I was actually in the spirituasl realm I have actually had several dreams where it felt like that but in this particular one we went through a door or rather I did following an unseen spirit and was then in a heavenly place but it wasn't heaven it felt more like a haven or place of safe keeping it was so wonderful God knows my love of nature and everything there was so much more vivid than anything here the blades of grass were like silk on your feet and the most beautiful deep green you can imagine flowers and all kinds of things of beauty were everywhere

Trees with fruits I have never seen streams of living water birds and creatures like deer and even friendly lions you can cuddle with and night and morning and day still happened but each time of day had a beautiful aspect to it I loved the paths you could walk on at night with fireflies and glowing lamps everywhere and best of all God's presence was everywhere and I played with the holy spirit himself in a lake of living water.like a small child and this living water was so full of life that it glsitened or glowed or shined I couldn't say for sure but even my skin seemed full of life
wow thats amazing I like to walk round barefoot but so often couldnt because of prickles, sharp stones, and all that rubbish you find on the ground these days.

I was watching a Canada wilderness program and even that, while beautiful, was not really Eden cos it will get cold, you cant really eat anything, and theres always sandflies or mosquitos around, not to mention bears that would eat you if they got hungry.

I believe this place I saw was the place of safe keeping otherwise known as Abrahams bosom I have always had what I call the secret garden in my heart a place where I often would imagine he and I would walk and play together but I didn't think it could be an actual place until I had this dream

Not all mushrooms grow on coffee grounds but oyster mushroom does very well on it. Shiitake (my fav) needs wood. There are very good websites on the details.

Not sure why that guy from the youtube is cleaning things with alcohol while you can sterilize in a pressure cooker :D
