As the title suggests, I'm "new" here. I signed up before (though I can't really remember) and then forgot, apparently. But anyway, I'm kind of in a place right now, trying to figure out what I believe and if there is even a point to anything. I don't mean to be a bummer, but this is just where I am right now. Anyway, I'd love to make some new connections - some REAL connections.

Hey Spacejunk, that's a fun name, welcome to the CC fellowship and discussions! Everything points to Jesus, who we are being transformed to, and that's a beautiful thing. Welcome space junk. Its about obiedence to Jesus and serving Jesus. Christian people study Bible and try to plant seeds. Our works will follow us, when we die in the flesh and are in the dimension Jesus is in.
On judgement Day, what do we have show for. People are judged by Jesus by their works.

Psalm chapter 100
Know ye that the Lord is God, it is he that made us, and not we ourselves, we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
100:4
Enter into the gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise, be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Many people are ignorant of Gods word and turned there back on God. Jesus has emotions, and he can be hurt. Getting involved with traditions of men and false doctrine and philosophy. It's of Satan. What's stopping them from going through narrow gate to paradise. Being complicit, listening to false brethren or spreading heresy. Messing with the occult.
Christian people are to study sound doctrine and tell the truth. Stay away from false teachers. Stay away from the occult.
We need to listen to God. All wisdom and knowledge comes from God. James chapter 1.
 
I'm still looking to make connections. I wish there was a chat room like the old AOL or YAHOO! ones.

It mabey difficult. Some are not called, and are spiritually dead. If your spiritual person, it's language barrier.
1 Corinthians chapter 2.
And some are involved traditions of men and don't want to connect or associate with Christian who is spiritual and teaches sound doctrine.

But there are some good shepherds out there. They plant seeds for God and move on, they don't deem the time to chat. There focused on serving Jesus.
Reason im on the forum, is to plant seeds for God. I studied under pastor for over 20 years. Our spiritual growth is absolutely important, that's why Christian people keep studying the Bible. We keep increasing in knowledge of God's word.
Christian people study Bible, so Jesus can use those who are called, to share Gods Truth with others, James chapter 6. Satan is trying to pull lot of people to hell. Body of Christ is trying to intervene, by planting seeds for God. Peace.
