Mmm maybe

I noticed in my self because Im a quiet, soft spoken person many people just dont hear me, I actually have to be quiet rude and interrupt loudly if I want to say anything otherwise people will just talk right over me.

I did say to this person i found this quaker fellowship and went along to check it out...and they welcome visitors, so thats always an option he could take up if he really wanted to meet some new friends...cos they call themselves and each other friends...and the good thing is, you just sit there with others and dont talk for an hour!

But anyway I dont know I suspect he might be the person who keeps calling at random times and not leaving any message on my phone.

I dont want really want fans its kinda weird to be worshipped. I did suggest he plant some trees...anyway. Over the years ive had people just disrespect all type of boundaries, you place a boundary, the taller ones leap right over. The older ones constantly knock at your door. The smaller ones go in and out and play tiggy with it. With my mum..she just barges right in.

Im like God these boundaries dont really work, Im going to have to go into lockdown mode.

I think it’s important to seek the Lord’s input in our connections. Whether they're relational or platonic. Three years ago I made a list of the qualities I desired in companions and business associates. I was very intentional. I prayed through the list every week and devoted a portion of my Friday fast to the subject.

Unless the Lord builds the house. We labor in vain. He knows our needs and challenges and the best scenarios for each. It has been my experience that the people He sends my way have something of benefit and an area where I can bless them in turn.

The scenario described is all encompassing. The negation of other bonds in deference to them would never work (for me). Their need and expectations exceeds my ability to meet them and would be an affront to friends who’ve demonstrated their loyalty and care. A newcomer could never usurp them.

mm

I had this person on spam list but saw they kept sending emails about workmates that I dont remember from years ago that I never even worked with or contact with. Weird.

When I start a new job I just dont keep in contact with old workmates all the time. I worked with so many people. I think just one or two that I might see once and a while as we have mutual things in common but thats it. If I do see any its mostly for work purposes in my new job.

Sometimes I might pop in to say hi, but very rarely do I go back to my old workplaces.
