i dont know ive been attracted to other women since i was young... what should i do...? please help

I can understand your confusion. Women are very beautiful and there is a lure to them. However, I think you're confusing your attraction for appreciation of their beauty. It's easy to get the two confused because, we smell good, wear tight clothing to show off our bodies, fix our hair and makeup. The list goes on and on, to make us so appealing and desirable to the opposite sex. There's nothing wrong with you thinking, "Wow, she's pretty." That does not mean you're attracted to women.
Also, the subject is Taboo, which makes it more alluring. That's the reason that people develop foot fetishes and other things like that. They know they're not supposed to like it or do it, and that's what turns them on. We all love to rebel. We like to break the rules. It's in our nature to be tempted, to sin. Why else would God tell us to resist our flesh so much unless it was going to be a HUGE struggle for us?
Anyhow, if you would like to talk about it more, I can relate to your situation and I'll hear you out. I can see you feel convicted for your thoughts, and you should try praying to God about it. I don't want you to feel like an outcast or a freak, because you're not. There are so many people who have thoughts like this and even more, we all sin.

... as if women are beautiful BY DEFINITION, lol. And btw, I don't think women should make themselves TOO desirable for the opposite sex. Why would you want to lead a man to sin? No offense, but when you say: we smell good, wear tight clothing to show off our bodies, fix our hair and makeup, I think you're describing prostitutes, not good christian women.
I can imagine behavior like that could even confuse other women, and give them unnatural feelings.

Remember this God Loves all not just a few. Some have a heavier cross to cary than others. If you think you are gay and you are searching for God, he will guide you and show you the right way. You might have this feelings for the rest of your life, I believe it is when you act on those feelings that you sin. You may need to live a celibate life. I do now that you are not the only one who has ever dealt with this. It may help to get professional christian counselors to help you understand. If anyone tells you that you are evil for this they have not removed the dirt from their eyes.

Just remember God did not create you with these feelings, as many who are gay and Christian claim God made them attracted to the same sex, which is total blasphemy!
I urge you to get right with God first, your feelings about the same sex need to be repented of, cast out of your heart and mind, come clean before God though real repentance and faith, and make sure you are walking on the narrow road!
There should be not even a hint of immorality between Gods children, so just know the way is narrow, Few will find it, and those who are His have crucified their flesh with its desires and passions, you do NOT need to see a counselor, to help you cope with your lustful thoughts, you need to fall on your face in repentance and brokenness, seeking the mercy of God!
Jesus wasn't kidding when He said you must deny self, pick up your cross and follow Him on the narrow road!

When one is truly converted, and has gone through the baptism of repentance, followed by a working faith in love, the critical aspect of this conversion will be manifested in what we think about. The mind is a powerful weapon to either do good or evil, as we learn from scripture that says, he who does what is evil (sins) is of the devil, from 1 John 3:8, and I believe the mind is the portal for Satan to cause havoc with those who are still divided in their hearts, loving the world on one hand, then loving God on the other.
We are commanded to love the Lord our God, with all our heart, mind, and strength, and also to capture all out though to Jesus Christ, 2Co 10:5 pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ.
What a powerful scripture, calling us to guard our heart and mind in all areas of our life.

Are you filling your mind daily with the word of God? Seeking and digging deep for the truth as commanded by Jesus and the apostles? Are you challenging all the false teachings going on in the apostate churches today, or are you filling your mind and thoughts with all the vile propaganda on TV, Hollywood movies, all the witchcraft and magic books very popular in the church today?
I believe a truly converted person, will have a fire and passion for truth, seeking the wisdom of God with all his heart and soul, and will put away the foolish things, which cause distractions and divided hearts, against the pure teachings of Jesus Christ.
We cannot afford to let our guards down when it comes to what we put into our minds on a daily basis, we must not give the evil one a foothold, by opening the door just a little bit, no we must flee from all vileness, corruption, immorality, and the lies being propagated as truth in the church system today.
WE must put on the mind of Christ, follow the spirit of truth if we have been truly converted, then guard our heart and mind against the wiles of the devil, by abstaining from all appearances of evil, 1Th 5:21 Prove all things, hold fast to the good.

So being grounded in the truth, putting on the full armor of God, each and every day, hiding the word of God in your heart, praying, and standing aloof of the church system and all its lies and confusion, is a big step in keeping our thoughts focused on Christ, and walking an obedient life of faith, and heart purity.

Now let me try to understand this. Are you male? If you are then what you are saying would indicate that you are what is called "Straight" rather than Gay. I'm presuming you are male since you used the word "Gay" but are apparently attracted to women but are trying to figure this out.
The word "Gay" applies only to same-sex attracted MALES if you want to be totally correct. If you are not a male then usage of the word 'Gay' would be incorrect. The correct word then would be "LESBIAN". As that only applies to same-sex attracted females.
Obviously, one wouldn't say something like "That's a Lesbian male" or "That's a Lesbian Gay" By the same token one shouldn't say "That's a Gay female or a Gay Girl" as that would indicate someone who could be a hermaphrodite. I'm just trying to figure out what you are trying to say here. Thank you.

Some come to me and they are so discouraged and depressed, some people can be so full of lusts they are miserable. If you know the truth of their being, you begin to see them as God does. You don't see a lustful person, you... don't see someone full of anger and bitterness, but you see the seed of God that is in that person. You can literally speak life to their inner being. If you try to bring them correction, if you try to tell them they can't do what they are doing, if you try to adjust their outward carnal man in any way, you will fail. But if you will simply speak the truth in love, you will bless them.
Do you realize that in the very center of your being, far past your mind, far past your emotions and will, deeply embedded in your consciousness is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? The very seed of His life is in you. If you are lustful, when Christ begins to be formed in you that lust will fall away. Youre not correct at all, because gay applies to men and women, lesbian just tends to be the more common usage. However, the issue is she is a girl atttracted to other girls.

God sent His Son to die for you. You need to repent before God and ask Him to change your heart.
Actually I believe I am correct. I do however understand that some but certainly not all same-sex oriented females may also be inclined to use that word to apply to themselves but I heard it from a college professor who worked with LGBT people so I felt he ought to know enough about the proper usage of the term and to whom it mostly applies.

It is not as if He does not know your inner thoughts , He does..He is in you, present in you now and always. So it has not come as a surprise to Him. The thing is though, just do what Tommy said...choose to...turn your thoughts to Jesus...Go into your room, shut the door and pray..secret place of prayer with Him. He is not comdemning you, but welcomes you with all your problems. You do not have to try to be righteous BEFORE coming to Him...just come as the mess you (and all of us) are.
You will never overcome anything by trying.
Just keep coming to Jesus , ask him to fill you with His Spirit.

Don't worry about it. If you're gay then so what? I agree with the person who said you have to make sure that it is actually homosexuality and not just appreciating someone else's looks. But if you are that's perfectly fine. You'll drive yourself into depression if you try to change who you are.
As for figuring out if you actually are gay, the only one who can really know is you.

Sorry Chaz but that is not sound advise, being gay is not OK !! we all have lusts and different temptations that we learn to turn from because we know they are wrong and grieve the Holy spirit.
I myself have temptations and sexual issues that I am learning to lean and seek Gods guidance on true repentance and know that I am set free from them..I take it one day at a time.. but wrong is wrong and right is right..
I do not want someone telling me that what I am doing wrong is OK cause its NOT and should someone tell another person that the sin they are lost in is OK then we are misguiding them to truth and may need to examin their own salvation..
