I remember back 8-9 years all my friends in school would be on it. We all talk to each other, post stories, talk about sports, school and whatever. Nowadays none of my friends are on it. It's just full of old people, seriously. All I see in comment sections of any page are adults crying about politics. Once our parents got on it, it became less cool. I occasionally use it for news, talk to a family member and post in whatever wrestling group I'm. Besides that, young people don't use it. It was fun, now it's not cool. That's a shame, I hope Instagram don't get ruined as well.

Instagram is trash.
And I'm sure you won't win any fans whining about "old people" on fb and how they ruined it.
If all you see on fb is "old people" that says more about your circle of friends than it does about fb.
And many of these "old people" were probably on fb before you and are still on it. It isn't that it was taken over, it was that the children that were on it grew up and aren't kids anymore.

And before facebook was myspace, and before that was... And before that was... and before that was Geocities! And before that there were clubs where people with similar interests would meet in person.

Time marches on.

Also this. if all you see on FB is "old people" then that's all you connected to. I know lots of people who are on FB and are only "old" if you are four years of age.

I kinda miss MySpace. It was pretty cool and I liked that you could customize your own profile and put a song on it too. Facebook seems more cold to me. I never understood why MySpace was abandoned so quickly. :(

Well, what is considered old and cool? Lol

I joined fb in 2004 or 2005, back when it was just for college students. It later opened up to everyone. As for my newsfeed, I see people from all ages and backgrounds arguing about politics. But I also see funny stuff from everyone.

MySpace! Oh man! That takes me back lol

Same reason young people are jumping ship from Facebook. When your parents start using it, it's no longer cool.

Switch over to Discord. I stopped using fakebook a long time ago, it's basically the same people but in different bodies just
doing and posting the same stuff over and over again.

I loved Facebook during college and shortly after. As I lived on campus and met people frequently it was a great way to connect with people. However, now it is full of people I no longer keep in touch with. My friends/relatives with whom I keep in touch are not too active. Plus, recently when I posted pictures or posts, not too many people reacted to my posts. It was really a waste of time for me at that point.

I seldom post on facebook(I tried to delete it but changed my mind because of my family Facebook is the easiest way to communicate with my family )...I only post something about Jesus, birthday post when it is my father, mother and sibling's birthday. But Lately I've been posting about my small e-loading business...been posting more often because I just started it 2 mos ago...if not Facebook is not the best place for me...thankful it seems like my friends on Facebook are not interested in politics 😅 but I get tired looking at filtered selfies and videos of gurls and boys dancing singing or mimicking someone 😄 ..I feel like most of them become so obsessed taking selfies and uploading those videos of themselves lol I don't know maybe it is only me maybe I am getting old already 😁

I refuse to support Zuckerberg anyway. In my opinion, we need to get back to actually meeting with and talking to people. We need to bring back the art of having an actual conversation, instead of perfecting our use of creating the perfect cartoon face to represent ourselves on some sort of ridiculous chat.

He says while using social media.
Something greatly ironic about people sitting on social media while complaining about how people should stop using it.
