i'm new to this website. I am 15 years old and have been brought up in a Christian home. I have been lead away from God and have been getting into drugs, alcohol the lot. I feel like i can't stop my ways but i'm never happy. i wish it was easier. i need answers... Does anyone have any?

Hey,

Maybe all you need is more Christian friendship, maybe your just hanging around with the wrong crowd. Either way, bad company corrupts, and i suggest that you find some friends our age that are more God centred.
Although you have grown up in a Christian home, have you accepted the Lord as your saviour? If you have, maybe you need to commit again?

Pray to the Lord, remember he is always with you, regardless. He will help you through anything. Pray to him, ask him for forgivness, ask him to guide you and comfort you and turn your life around. Praying will strenghten and deepen your relationship with him, and keep you better on track.

there's a place in our hearts that only Jesus can fill , other things in the world try to but the comfort from them won't last long and soon we'll need more of that or something else (i believe that's why today many people complain they are bored so often) so nothing else can fill that place designed for Jesus, cause the meaning of our lives , our purpose we find in Him , it's the ultimate source of satisfaction for everyone, when u depend on His love for just everything that will set u free from any kind of bondage , anything that makes ur life stilled and not progress , it may take more or less time depending on what it is , the circunstances and all.... we all have something we need to get rid of , to a greater or lesser degree i think but the answer is just one and will neeeeeeeever disappoint u :)

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light"

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed"

i , for example, would read those passages and say hmm yeah i believe but why do i still feel it's being so difficult to live and i feel enslaved by some feelings etc? i found that deep inside i wasn't really sure God could take care of me so i still was trying to get the world's approval by thinking like it does, and wanting to be accepted and all but that was making me the "tail" and i hate being the tail! lol , i guess i know what that means in practice now:

"The Lord will make you the head, not the tail"

He's been changing me through faith and giving me what i need (not what i sometimes want and thats bad for me) and it's being the best experience ever cause He's been equipping me ,molding me the way He has planned. i'm finally being set free indeed , i hope it encourages u find out how much u are loved and His love will set u free:)
