Honestly, I can't live without your food, people...I have just had Chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and naan, from my local Indian restaurant, it's so delicious. 😇

Best cuisine ever invented and ordered by God...in my opinion.

Us brits have the measly fish and chips and a few pies...nothing to shout about.

My favorite Indian restaurant shut down not too long ago .

Butter chicken with naan bread and vegetable samosas with mango chutney no more .:censored::cry::cry::cry::censored:

It was family run and I would drive seventy blocks just to get there to pick up take out...

I have taken several visiting family members there and had many wonderful sit-downs with friends as well.

I loved their dahl in the all-you-can-eat vegetarian buffet. That's what I would normally go for, while
those I was dining with heaved sighs of relief to realize there was meat available on the menu LOL

About twenty some odd years ago those vegetable samosas were $0.25 each!

The last time I got some there they had gone from $1.00 to $1.25...

Indian restaurants allow for varying degrees of temperature, meaning, they often ask,
how would you like it? Medium, mild, or spicy? Always best if unsure to opt for mild,
because even that may be quite hot and spicy to your palette! But yum yum yum, so tasty!

Ha ha too funny! But it also depends on the dish. Something like
samosas can be quite mild and not really hot/spicy much at all.
I can easily make a meal of samosas with mango chutney. It's
mostly potatoes in a baked flour encasing, like a large dumpling.

Upstairs from my former martial arts school used to be the best Indian Restaurant. Any dish was delicious. The goat cheese was very good, desserts too. Now I make my own. I'm not the best cook, but not the worst either. I like Indian beans far more than large beans we eat in America. Moong Dal, etc. are excellent with everything. I mix my own curries most of the time and use garlic.
I better stop right there because I'm getting hungry.

I think Hindus are generally vegetarian. Butter chicken, beef curry, chicken kabobs, are Arab style dishes.

Maybe Jesus preferred to be vegan?
Isaiah 66:3
“He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol— yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant.

1 Corinthians 10:25
Eat anything that is sold in the meat market without asking questions for conscience’ sake;

Romans 14:12
One person has faith that he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats vegetables only.

Just saying, Indian herbs & spices could make a horse taste good, not that (as far as) I know by experience that they taste that awful.

We were making light recently of a diner that sent back a dish in disgust because it was not vegan. How are we to know by sight if any person is vegan? ...
"I noticed your completion is flawless... you must be a vegan?"
or
"Your bones appear a bit fragile, will you be having the vegan option?

I think Hindus are generally vegetarian. Butter chicken, beef curry, chicken kabobs, are Arab style dishes.
Indian cuisine offers a delightful array of meat dishes that are rich in
flavor and spices. Here are some popular ones you might want to try:

Keema: A flavorful stew made with minced lamb or goat meat, green peas, potatoes, ginger, chili,
onions, ghee, garlic, and garam masala spices. The name “Keema” means minced meat in Urdu.

Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani): A classic dish from Delhi, India, butter chicken features tender chicken cooked in a
creamy tomato-based sauce with butter, red chili powder, garlic, ginger, and fenugreek. It’s a favorite among many!

Nihari: While not as common in Indian cuisine, Nihari is a beef curry that’s popular in
Pakistani cooking. It’s slow-cooked with aromatic spices and served with naan or paratha.

Rogan Josh: Originating from Kashmir, Rogan Josh is a lamb curry cooked with yogurt, tomatoes, and
a blend of warming spices. The vibrant red color comes from the use of Kashmiri red chili powder.

Chicken Biryani: A fragrant rice dish layered with marinated chicken, saffron,
and aromatic spices. Biryani is a celebration of flavors and textures.

Goan Pork Vindaloo: A fiery and tangy pork curry influenced by
Portuguese cuisine. It features vinegar, garlic, and red chilies.

Remember that Indian cuisine varies greatly by region, so you’ll find diverse meat dishes across
the country. Whether you’re a fan of chicken, lamb, goat, or fish, there’s something for everyone!
