JohnB doesn't want a wife, he just wants to whine and moan.

Then you should go back and tell that Pastor that he was right after all.In one way he did repent, He did the job god asked him to do. He hated doing it, but he did it. god did not require him to do with a joyful heart or to even be happy about it. He is in heaven.
There are special cases. About Adam and Eve, there was no other choice. They were the only people around. Why all this obsession with marriage and spouses? And what you have said is not completely true. The example of Rebekah for Isaac is a case in point. The example of Eve for Adam is even more powerful. And there are probably many others. Also kindly capitalize "God".
I stand corrected
The republicans are just as bad. BOTH parties are corrupt to the core.I stand corrected

seriously, I use key words to search for bible verses but this makes me been wonder if John Biden searches the bible for pornographic material.
I'm not saying that Johah did not experience repentance, only that he did not repent of his actions in the book. No matter, let's move forward in peace now.The Holy Spirit may be guiding you in your life ----but He also can give you the truth of what the Scripture is saying -----and that is where I see your downfall ---you need to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into the truth of Jonah's repentance ------
Jonah was in fact in Sheol/Hades for three days and three nights. He prayed from there and God in fact resurrected him. So he was fully a type of Christ. Christ did not need to repent, but was made SIN for us, meaning that He became the Sin-Bearer for all humanity. Then He "took away" the Sin of the world, by paying the full penalty for sins on the cross."for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.". It seems like Jesus is saying that Jonah is a picture of the the Son of man who went to the cross and was 3 days and nights before being resurrected. Is repentance necessary to fulfill this picture? Jesus was without sin. Yet he did become sin for our sakes.
