I ended things with my boyfriend of almost a year.

My heart hurts because I have hurt him. He has been reaching out for the past few days nonstop and even returned all the stuff I bought him as well as writing me a letter.

Ouch, I am so sorry. I bet it hurts you both. I pray the Lord brings you guidance and peace, and lots of His tender protection. I pray He eases his ache too, that God gives him peace that surpasses all understanding. Again Sister, big hugs. Thanks for sharing so we can pray with you.

Thank you! He's taking it really hard. I'm agreeing to meet with him today to give him answers. I gave him answers previously, but I just think he was in shock.

Thanks! It is extremely hard to do but really needed to do it for a while. Just kinda avoided it. As much as my emotions for him are real, my mental health is much more important to me.

Dear Lord, help shineyourlight to understand that she only did what was best for her and her ex boyfriend. Help her to no longer feel bad for making this decision, but to feel better and ready to work on herself and move forward with things. Help her ex to also understand that this is what was best for the both of them, and help him to also be able to move forward with things and work on himself as well. Help them to not have any negative thought, but to pursue positive thoughts and positive goals for the new year. In Jesus name I pray Amen!

I’m sorry to hear about your situation with your boyfriend. I’m praying, asking God to surround you both with His love, provide comfort and guidance as you trust in Him. May He reveal His best plans for your lives as promised in Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Praying for you and him. As a divorcee, I know how hard it is. But, as you know, with God all things are possible. And He is with you to comfort you and give you strength! Isn't that the most beautiful gift??
