last night you were all about how we get along and now you accuse me of something that is so off the wall it makes me wonder if you have a split personality

it was obviously a joke since she was complaining about not finding the woman's forum..

how under the burning sun do you come up with nails being driven into the eyes of men?

there is obviously nothing suicidal going on or the mods would have taken care of it...I would hope

is this possibly mistaken identity since I changed my avatar or have you decide you hate me again?

I think you misunderstood me in the Christmas forum I was talking about... Oh what mess maybe I can fix that over there. I didn't mean to be referring to you. I was meaning the way the world just tags on their thing and tries to skip the Jesus parts. Sorry.

I'm glad. I think that was one of the most offensive posts one could expect to find in a thread of this nature.
Not only did they judge you but they diagnosed you having no actual credentials to do so, save for a "webMd" link. Which isn't credible in the matter of psychology because it makes a blanket diagnosis based on generalized "symptoms".
And, they're male.
Ah, I had to laugh at that one too. :giggle:

In any case, I would suggest you not lump all men into the experience(s) you've had with men in the past. Maybe rather than have those men and experiences control your life long after they occurred you could look back and see those experiences you survived as a teaching moment.
Now you know what not to accept in someone's behavior. And you know from experience, why.
Bad people hope to control our lives with their bad behavior toward us. They're miserable in themselves and they like to spread that around.
If you decide to let the experience empower you rather than dis-empower you and make you afraid of all (men) , or insert any bad experience you've had in those parenthesis, then you are stronger and wiser for having survived. And in that sense you dis-empower those who thought to control you in the moment, and in the future with your bad memories of their behavior(s).

Not all men are like the one's you've encountered. Those you have encountered are an example of what a real man is not like. And they have to live with themselves forever. You're blessed in that you don't. You can take those experiences and have them to make you stronger for coming out on the other side alive. You won! Because you survived what they attacked you with. Whatever those details are.
Meanwhile, they will live and die as what they are. Bad for them.
Good for you in that you never have to think about them again a day in your life. Why give them power over you right now with a memory of an event that is long gone?

Take back your power! Love you first. Then realize, those men in your past do not make you who you are today. Rather, your experiences of them, make you stronger because they didn't break you. Don't give them the power to cloud your vision of all men so that you carry their treatment of you forward and in doing that mark all men with their sins.
You deserve to be happy and free of what hurt you in the past. And the only one that can assure that for you, is you with God's help.

Unclosed meandering threads. Never seen that before on a forum. Gives us a taste of eternity?? Hell or Heaven.....or how about Purgatory?
