I am a teen but I have a prayer request

Basically my friends have been really toxic and mean to me. lying and talking about me behind my back. being rude and negative towards me and i now have a lot of insecurities. I just want prayer for wisdom on how to approach my friends and also just peace because of how alone I feel. Thank you everyone!

Instead of confronting them about their behaviour, which might make it worse, I think it would be best to distance yourself. At your age, people aren't mature enough to like differences. But you should not call them your friends, considering how they treat you. Is there a church you attend? Maybe you can make some new friends?

People like that are not friends.
May the Lord provide you with opportunities to make actual good Christian friends. Do you go to church? I would start there.

Remember that Jesus felt alone at times but took consolation that the Father was with Him. He knows how you feel.

There not your friends. You can't be friends with the world, and friend with Jesus at the same time. Psalm 89. The wicked mock Jesus and Christian people, and have ulterior motives. 1 Peter chapter 4. They will interfere with your spiritual growth and dtag you down with them. If you carry your cross daily, and serve God. Outsider's won't want you around,or body of Christ. Cut them loose. You don't want to walk with the wicked, they are going to sheol. It's holding place until judgment Day. Psalm chapter 82, wicked have no future. Am I standing up for Jesus or Satan. Its your decision. Peace.

Yes it is hard to hear but, different friends works very well. Find those around you who believe in Jesus. They should be the right kind of friends. But even is, you need to be careful. Look for truthfulness and honesty! Kindness also.
