Not sure of your exact question...please re phrase
When Moses gave the law. He made a requirement, He said anyone who did not fulfill this requirement was cursed.

What was that requirement. And can you and I fulfill it?

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

When did Moses give that command?

I asked about the Law.

The answer can be found in Deut 27: 26.

Also Paul quotes moses words in Gal 3: 10

Is the narrow gate trying to make ourself righteous. Or God making us righteous?

"Walk as Jesus did" inevitably leads me to think of Jesus walking on water :)

I suspect that all would be as Peter were they to try it :D

As Moses lifted the serpent. so too must the son of man be raised that all who believe (true saving faith) 9n him shall not perish but have eternal life.
correct......but only if we obey God
Consider what Jesus said in John 10:28

"I give them eternal life and they shall never perish."

Prior to that, Jesus said this in John 5:24 - “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."

So, those who believe in Him have (as in possess) eternal life. And they possess eternal life because Jesus gave it to them.

So, on the basis of being given eternal life, recipients of eternal life shall never perish.

Obedience follows faith.

There are so many different topics and ideas and opinions about so many things on this forum. What if someone just wants to get Born Again? Is that complicated and controversial also? Is the on-ramp to salvation hard to find and navigate? What could we say to a lost person just coming in here seeking Jesus?

Let's make at least one thread that is devoid of bickering and arguing and is seeker friendly. Just state how simple it is to come to Jesus and why (don't use it as an opportunity to criticize the previous poster.)

My thought and verse(s) on being/getting Born Again:___________________________
Hmm sorry I seems didn't get past page one. Easy yes.. Luke 23"remember me when you come into your kingdom". Rom 10 "For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” John 6 "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. "

For me no matter how we WORD IT... He knows the heart and He had already been working in there life and they just answered the call. Again sorry for something like this .. should be so easy to agree. John 3:16 Rom 10 9-10

The first step is once hearing the gospel, the unsaved person must believe it. The Scripture says that if we confess Christ with our mouths, in believe that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved.

The next step is to seek God with all your heart for the Holy Spirit to transform you so that you are genuinely converted to Christ. The Scripture says that if we seek God with all our hearts we will find Him.

Many view the baptism with the Spirit bring that true conversion and transformation so that the believer starts to live in the Spirit and then the Holy Spirit assists him or her to walk in the Spirit.

This is more than just joining a church, adopting Christian jargon, living a moral life, being kind to animals - in other words it is more than just being outwardly religious in church on Sunday mornings and being something else on the other six days of the week.

A good account of what true conversion to Christ is found in "Alarm to the Unconverted" by Joseph Alleine. He adopts a very no nonsense approach to Christian conversion and says that true conversion is not just turning up to church and saying, I am a Christian now." He says the transformation can come only when the Holy Spirit does it, and it doesn't come automatically a person starts to profess Christianity. The person must keep pressing into God through prayer and faith until the transformation happens.

I have attached my book on the true gospel for those who are interested. Those who might find it useful to share with others, have my permission to download and print it in booklet form.

If you are willing to accept that eternal life for Israel is given in the future, then what the Naomi and Jesus is saying there, is actually the same thing.

Peter reminded Israel that in Acts 3:19-21 and 1 Peter 1:9.

This is what is happening....many hinder the path of others who want to make the walk alone to God...in fact through the ages...it was the solitary to whom God was revealed....they walked alone like Jesus...teaching us the right way of life..not the white picket fence life...the child of God will leave that family and God will guide him out of that prison life....truly narrow is the door

50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.

8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
9 And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.
10 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Who did he tell to beware of the pharisees?
All of us...

Matthew
16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
16:7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, [It is] because we have taken no bread.
16:8 [Which] when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
16:9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
16:10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
16:11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake [it] not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
16:12 Then understood they how that he bade [them] not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
