If I may, I have known @TamLynn and @17Bees for some time, and they are both wonderful, Godly people with awesome senses of humor.

They have even taken the time over the years to listen to my woes and sorrows, and they always give caring, sound advice.

I think what TamLynn meant about never telling someone to get married is that she would never try to insist that a happily single and content person absolutely must look for someone to marry.

She most certainly did not mean that singles who are dating someone should sin or live together. In that case, she would advise them to seek God and perhaps marry or else separate and sin no more.

I have gone to her several times over the years as a Christian big sister and her counsel had always been wise, sound, and scriptural.

17Bees is one of the most intelligent and well-spoken members on the forum. If you come across one of the stories he occasionally shares (we wish he would more often!,) I can assure you that you'll come to see not only is he incredibly insightful, but also humble enough to never miss an opportunity to poke fun at himself. 🤓💕🤗

I'm looking for a friend because I would like to fellowship and grow in the faith with another. However, it's harder than I thought. Out of curiosity, is anyone here interested in making new friends? (I don't mean with me per se, but in general. Lol)
short answer is yes. Slightly longer answer is I am a socially awkward introvert who knows he needs friends, but doesn't know how to make them. My last truly close friendship was...twenty or so years ago.

Hi there Buckle!
Not having a small community of friends can be tough.
I pray that the Lord will bring friends into your life that understand...and even celebrate, the socially awkward introvert you describe yourself as. 🙏🏻

What a kind, wonderful thing to write! (of course I had to have somebody read it to me )

huh I thought we were all friends here
even if we are old
Ive been on this forum for about 2 years now...and new people post all the time!

You just got to stick around I say...then you'll become an old friend!
(tip...my thing is to post something a bit different each time)

the thing with friends is they are the ones that stick by you through thick and thin. So my suggestion is to get some of that sticky stuff like velcro or glue...and use it
