Why will New Jerusalem be brought down by our Maker?
There shall be a New Heaven and a New Earth. The old shall pass away.
2 Peter 3:
7But
the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store,
reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which
the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Does this not say that Jerusalem here today is not the Jerusalem of God?
Until the end of the 1000-year Reighn of Christ on (this) Earth, the current Jerusalem will likely remain.
The Israel on our maps is here to be the staging ground for the Beast and his prophet. Please , take it from there.
Yes, and it will surely remain the center of things onwards throughout the Millennium.
Revelation then reveals...
Revelation 20:
6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and
shall reign with him a thousand years. 7And
when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and
fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Revelation 21:
1And I saw
a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2And
I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold,
the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
