Hello, i came here because i read a scripture. James 5:16: “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” 1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” And i would like to confess something. Is there a chat room for that

Currently, no chat room but the forums are very much like a chat room. Depending on the time and topic you might get a reply within a few minutes. I have a Midnight Confession thread in the Singles Forum in case that you have anything else to confess. Glad to have you join in on the conversations. Welcome to CC.

1 John 1:8-10~ If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the Truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His Word is not in us.:)

What experience do you have with God in your life?

^ Gospel of John is often recommended as a great place to start reading the Bible.
This movie is a word-for-Word portrayal of John's gospel.

Have you been to a church or sought one out since? Do you have a Bible to read, or devotionals?

You can get a free email subscription to Our Daily Bread (they have a website) with awesome daily devotionals and lessons on Scripture that only take a few minutes to read at a time.

We also have many thread here if you do a search, or look through the New Member and Introduction forums, of people like yourself who are newer to seeking God.

When we become born again, we are now children of God and are will live forever in glorious joy with Him. There s/b no fear as He knows our futures and hopes. Idk the circs around your sister's passing but know God is most merciful and tells us not to worry about anything. Have faith in God and do what you can to present Jesus to a dying world and you'll be even more blest when we are obedient. God bless and comfort you with His peace🙏✝🔯🙌
