I agree.Fully Human
Really? So when he said that he did everything he saw his Father was doing, he was just a carpenter? Or he couldn't really see the Father in the trinity? In the opening post, I specifically mentioned three systems of the human body, our cardiovascular system, our digestive system—and our nervous system that includes our brain! Jesus had a human brain—just like ours! However, it is often supposed by Christians, including many who post to Christian Chat, that Jesus knew everything—including whether the Genesis flood actually occurred, and whether Moses wrote the Pentateuch.
In Mark 6:3 we read, “Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?” And they took offense at Him.
I am a conservative, evangelical Christian, and therefore I believe that Jesus was actually a carpenter, having been raised in a first century Jewish family with four brothers and an unspecified number of sisters. I do not believe that He attended a university to study world history, cosmology, chemistry, physics, or the arts—and therefore I do not believe that He knew anything more about these subjects than the typical young layman in his community. I do believe, however, that He believed the Jewish traditions that were part of the culture in which He was raised by Mary and Joseph. Therefore, He would have believed that the Genesis flood actually occurred and that Moses wrote the Pentateuch—unless His heavenly Father had told Him otherwise.
Therefore, I ask—is it likely that His heavenly Father had told Him otherwise? Surely if He had, and Jesus had shared with the people around these things, He would have been severely ostracized by his community, and by every other community in which He had shared these things, for being a subversive heretic!
The inspired four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) accurately tell us what Jesus taught, but they do not tell us whether Jesus believed correctly about the Genesis flood and the Mosaic authorship of the Pentateuch. We simply believe that Jesus believed and taught correctly because God is omniscient—and Jesus is God—sometimes forgetting that He was also a human being with a very finite human brain!
I do not put on a false face, or pretend I'm special because I know God has seen me facing the toilet in both directions. He has seen me at my worse, and yet you don't want to think he had bodily functions?Must you resort to such base imagery? It's not amusing and of very poor taste.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

You are consistent. We do not need to discuss "bodily functions" in the forums. I never said the Lord did not have any only that there are better things to consider.I do not put on a false face, or pretend I'm special because I know God has seen me facing the toilet in both directions. Oy vey!
May I assume that sometime in your life you changed a diaper? Why? Because, honestly? How were you able to communicate to the baby's mother if the baby was regular, if you didn't simply say, "The baby pooed?" When my little brother really was (little), during potty training, poo was the word he used to let us know it was time to sit him on the toilet. He hadn't even had his first birthday yet, and we were proud of him for telling us what he needed to do.You are consistent. We do not need to discuss "bodily functions" in the forums. Poo is not a curse word. It is something all humans do. It's something all living creatures do. Even Winnie Poohed. lol
I think it's a cute word. If I were being consistent, I would use a word, (that also is not a curse word), that would raise the hackles on the back of your neck to describe it. I though Breno was sweet to use such a non-vulgar word to show exactly how human Jesus was.
Reality time. Jesus also sweated, and back in the days when they did not have deodorant.
Let's be real. It's a natural function of life that God has created and designed.
I did not set out to offend but to equate to His humanness.
I'm surprised that even a mod would be uptight as to remove my comment yet leave utmost heresies remain on this site.
Shall I mention the numerous masturbation discussions on this site?
Oh well, it is what it is.
you mean , in ref to the self-gratfying discussions that have turned into examples of lack of self-control? I have deleted them. your point?
are you now going to suggest something else about the Lord ?
Why would I?
He never sinned though He was tempted in all points.
A totally different matter and you know it.
What I do know is when a Mod removes something and gives a reason for it you do not need to inject the reason why you think a Mod has done so. and you know the rules.
have nice day.
Did the incarnate Christ (Jesus) have a cardiovascular system like ours? A digestive system like ours? A nervous system like ours?
We? Apparently not. Me? Yes! Given the question and the context of the question? Very much yes!Agree the word is not a curse word true. However, is it really something we would ask the Lord about in context to HIS Humanity? I do not think so. Nor is the comment edifying. I think we must all remember of whom we are speaking about.
We are not talking about just any baby; this is the Lord Jesus Christ. I think more self-control and reverence is needed.
... I've seen masturbation topics on this site disappear only because they became old and faded away.you mean , in ref to the self-gratfying discussions that have turned into examples of lack of self-control? I have deleted them. your point?

Is this a new edict you (CS1 Moderator) are passing down?
You're right, I'm out of line to question your decisions. I'm sorry, please forgive me.
Sorry. One little typo and I missed what you meant. Mind trying again? (I didn't get what "i'm very excided in following that subject . as you are" meant. Possibly because I didn't get the word "excided." Possibly because masturbation really isn't my cup of tea most the time -- discussion wise. Not taking this to personal level. lol Also don't know when age showed up in this conversation. So missed your meaning in two places.)Depleted I have deleted them because they turned perverted as I documented when they were removed age had nothing to do with it . But i'm very excided in following that subject . as you are.
