So I am usually very open with my liberal friends and usually repost most of their posts with a counter thought to counter their post. For example my liberal acquaintance posted this.

FB_IMG_1570190018802.jpg

They also regularly say that Planned Parenthood would treat them at low cost when no one else would. But this is also false as researched 80% of their services is abortion related.

Planned Parenthood reports that the cost of killing a baby in the first trimester can be up to $1500. More specific costs can be found here: from $415 to $1110, from 4 weeks to 18 weeks gestation. (Note: PPFA doesn’t report the age of the human beings they abort, so as with many unreported details, we have to estimate). The average cost, assuming all PPFA abortions were first trimester (which they’re not) would be $762.50. So this cost times 323,999 abortions equals $247,049,237.50. That’s 80% of their health services revenue. And this is just including first trimester abortions, when we know PPFA does second trimester abortions (after 20 weeks) as bragged about by their Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola

So my answer may sound inconsiderate but 1 or whatever smaller % of life doesn't justify supporting a business that kills millions of innocent lives.

I would discreetly offer my opinion to her if she asked for it. But wouldnt try to stop her.

If they post it on social media then your opinion is welcomed. A social media post just like a news media article has the opportunity to change or reinforce someone's beliefs.

So by countering fake or destructive beliefs you are providing a counter thought that either A. Helps other Christians know how to respond or B. Gives the opposition a chance to see the flaws in that belief.

Obviously this can be done wisely and respectfully. I usually just copy the post and repost it without tagging them in it. They will probably see it but I didn't directly call them out. Even though sometimes a belief is so dangerous I have called others directly out on that belief.

Like one of my old friends from high school posted that the unborn baby wasn't a life until birth. Which is a very destructive belief but easily refuted by science.

social media is hardly ever the best platform for respectful debate. imo. but then face to face we tend to avoid such issues altogether. in my experience.

If she went to planned parent she is poor enough to have a government medical card. If it was me and if I was right, I would advise here to go to a hospital for a mammogram.

I like to go to a local brew pub. It serves my favorite pale ale in a hundred-mile radius.

They also offer microwaved pizzas and easy mac prepared on a hot plate.

The mammogram is the Planned Parenthood equivalent of Easy Mac. Yes, they provide the service, but it isn't the reason why their operation exists.

Other fun and valid analogies:

1. It's like the noise-canceling headphones you can purchase on an international flight.

2. It's like wine at a gas station.

3. It's like the necessary services performed by my city government.

nah he/she is dead serious.
Well, I think some fault is with you... God's word is alive and sharper than a two edged sword and it will not return unto Him void for what it was set out to do.... Ok... let her get her bobbs checked, I'm sure if one needs chopped off she'll want a second opinion... When it comes to Plant Parenthood no one cares about money.... keep planting seeds is all we (you) can do and trust God to bring in the increase....
