How Do I Separate Thread ?

Hi. Can you tell me how I can separate the thread into
paragraph I want to expound on, without clicking on reply
all ? Thanks in advance ~ J-Kay-2
 
I'm not getting the question. There is no 'reply all' in threads.

There is 'reply' which, i'm not sure what the point of is. Maybe it alerts the person that they have been replied to if they have such things on? Just a guess
There is 'reply with quote' which just quotes the person making it easier for everyone to know who you're talking to and what you're responding to.
And 'multiquote' for quoting more than one post at a time.

'Reply all' is for private messages sent to multiple users.

Oh, forgive a Sr. lady for making error. I meant reply with quote.
So here let me explain again. How do I separate a paragraph out
of a long thread ? Just call me 'airhead.' Thanks.

This needing help to separate long Threads really is serious for me.
I often want to just pick out a certain section and not take up space.
Guess we can sit and twiddle our thumbs, or just let our fingers do
the walking....and some kind person will understand what help we
need. I have waited for so long to ask, finally I ask, and can't ask
right... Oh, well... such is life...
 
If you are replying with a quote but you are only responding to one portion of the quote you can bold or change the font/color of the portion you are replying to within the quote, or you can just delete the portion of text that you are not responding to.

Just copy the [QUOTE ] to the front of every section and copy the [/QUOTE ] to the end of every section

I tried it out on here, and did not work.... Oops... need to read instructions all over again.

A thread is our main Topic Title.... such as this title...How Do I Separate Thread.
Man I am still having problems separating even with good instructions. I know
how to copy and paste..... I guess I will have to play around with it ...... WE
can learn together....

I appreciate your help, the only problem is .... I tried to copy (highlight blue ) and get the portion
I want, but, it did not show up quote in front or at the end before I tried to bring down into the
Quick Reply section. I played around few times and it just did not work. What could I be doing
wrong ? Thank you so much for trying to help...
