I was a baby, and
She was long gone;
The shadow of a woman
Where was your Love?
How could you leave?
How could you run?
What about the bond,
Between a mother and her two young sons.
How selfish could you be,
Where did you go?
Where was the wisdom,
We needed to grow?
Where was a mothers Love we needed,
To take into the World.
Dad left too,
Left us with triggers and issues.
Tears fade away with only a tissue.
Cries of help,
Because I miss you.
Miss a man,
Who made two bastard sons.
Who unknowingly,
Before we could walk,
Taught us how to run.
How to survive without Love,
Without giving away trust.
Fake parents take their place,
Take up residents in a heart,
With no space.
Hate on their children,
Because they made mistakes.
Oppressive culture dictates,
The man I’d become today.
But that’s changed,
It only takes one person,
To create.
A new legacy is born today!
So I shed our ancestral cloak,
Anger and hate,
Addiction and pain.
Abandonment,
With messed up games.
Times the time,
I twist fate,
Change a perspective,
Before it’s too late.
Become an example,
Of change,
In a new way!
Show Love,
Experience new days!
Be present,
And constant in my faith.
Forgive,
Give God all my pain.
Thank Him for,
Making me clay,
Moldable,
to his Will,
His change.
, extrovert,
All I know is I've been hurt.
