I dont and cant discern that. Now if a person comes to believe in Jesus, the True Jesus that is, there is a good hope they are chosen. And if they are chosen they will eventually be brought to the Truth 2 Thess 2:13-14

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
What do you mean “the True Jesus”?

God loves them He has saved and whom He foreknew.. Anyone damned for their sins, going to hell, God did not love, never knew them like that Matt 7:23

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

To say "I never knew you" is not the same as "I never loved you".

Why would Jesus weep for Jerusalem if He didn't love them?

Hosea 11:8 NKJV “How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I set you like Zeboiim? My heart churns within Me; My sympathy is stirred."

Okay, doesn’t really explain much.

The only reason we’re interested in this thread along with all the other pre-destined, elect, chosen etc (I guess some people call this calvinism), is because you guys have taken one idea (elect/ non-elect) and have made a religion out of it (to a point).

Actually it is but you cant see it, in addition it means He never died for them either, He knows them as His Sheep He died for Jn 10:14-15

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

More or less replacement theology. A RCC theology from a RCC priest.

How do you understand 1 John 2:2?

1 John 2:2 NKJV And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Jesus died so that it would be possible for all people to be saved (sufficient for all, efficient for the elect)

Those who refuse Jesus' atonement are blamed because it was offered to them, but they refused. If it was never offered to the unbelievers, then the unbelievers should not be punished for refusing it. I know we have many other sins to be punished for, but Hebrews 10:29 specifically mentions punishment for rejecting Christ's blood.

Hebrews 10:29 NKJV Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
