I use to have a hope
Yes once a belief
But now I've come to know
Gods true sovereignty
He is not a man
No He never will lie
His truths a hundred percent
His word will never die
if you look you will see
Back through the ages
His word keeps on coming
It's building it's stages
A lie will travel the world
In a matter of minutes
While truths putting it's boots on
Knowing the lies already finished
God is slow to anger
Why waste a breathe
when what needed done
Was paid with His Sons bloodshed
I'd move slow too
since the truths already in existence
it's the changing of minds
Meeting it's own resistance
It believes itself
instead of believing God
I pray the word gets out
before cries of suffering get loud
No matter the cry no matter the place
Cry out to Him
He is our saving grace
He will help us up
He will drown the sorrow
Please do it today
Don't put off ,till tomorrow
the last thing we try
Is the first thing we need
Jesus is the door
He is the great key
for it is written , yes it is plain
King of Kings, Lord of Lords
Almighty God is His Name
Dont run to the dark
Keep running to His light
Trim branches
Burn bridges
Get things of Him, in sight
things will get brighter I promise you this
a lie can destroy
Your life it will twist
he straightens out the system
untangles corrupt beliefs
He cleans up the messes
And oh yes
you'll yell it from the streets
Come look at this life
Come look what He's done
you'll look around and tell everyone
with shouts of great joy
You'll run and you'll shout
His kingdoms great Glory
Because His Sons life ,He laid down.
So we could come
so we could be saved
but the stories not done
Because His Son rose from the grave
Now living in you and in Me
So when the time comes
And Father calls us Home
It will be Jesus presenting us
To His Fathers Throne
